Ever since you were a child, your parents had taught you to fear the creatures that lurked in The Forest. You never knew why. You had never been able to see what you were supposed to fear so you were never afraid of them. The Wolves. They were said to have long, sharp fangs and could pull out your heart with one scratch but again, you never saw them so you didn't believe in the stories.

"Mama, why can't we be friends with The Wolves?" You asked your mother as you helped her wash up after dinner.

"They are too dangerous, darling. You must never go into The Forest. That's where they hide and that's where they stay. You belong in the village where it's safe." Your mother frowned, handing you a plate to dry off. You sighed and continued to help with the chores, still not understanding why you had to fear the creatures that lurked in The Forest.
