A Moonlit Dream

Chapter 7

  Minho was determined to get her back. He couldn't let her parents see him as the man who lost their daughter. He couldn't let the village see him as the guard captain that abandoned the borders. He rounded up his best men and led them into The Forest. 

  "C-Captain, are you sure this is a good idea?" Minhyuk asked worriedly as the group stood on the border.

  "Shut up. I won't let a mangy dog take the woman I was promised. She's mine." Minho snarled. His men jumped at the sound of his intensity. He pulled on the reigns of his horse and led the way into The Forest. 

  Minho had no idea where to start looking so he turned right into the trees. He could hear his men shaking by the sound of their armor clanking together. He sighed, realizing he had gone the wrong way and turned around.

  After a few minutes of searching he soon saw a very large, very expensive looking mansion. Why would a mansion be in the middle of The Forest?

  "Kihyun, Minhyuk. Go investigate the house. I smell their stench everywhere." Minho ordered before Kihyun and Minhyuk stalked towards the house's front door. They jiggled the door knob, finding it unlocked before pushing the door open. A loud shout was heard before Minhyuk was dragged inside. 

  "Captain! They're inside! They saw us!" Kihyun screamed as he ran back to the group. Minho snarled before charging at the house, hopping off his horse and kicking at the front door.

  "I know you have her in there with you, beasts! Give her back to me before I kill all of you!" Minho screamed. Voices could be heard behind the door before it was pulled open to reveal a very tall, lanky man with burgundy hair. 

  "And who do you think you are knocking down our door demanding things?" The man growled. Minho grabbed his gun before pointing it at him. 

  "I'm here to take back what I was promised." Minho attempted to growl back. The taller man groaned before knocking the gun out of Minho's hand before holding his wrist tightly. 

  "Everything and everyone in this house has already been spoken for. I can get our alpha and he can explain more to you but in the mean time, you have me to deal with. So, unless you want your hand bitten off, I would advise you to get the fuck off our front steps." Chanyeol snarled, letting his fangs appear as his eyes turned blood red. Minho wanted to run away screaming but he wanted (y/n) home more. 

  "Give me (y/n) and you won't have any problems from me." Minho said softly, trying to negotiate with the strong wolf. A low growl could be heard from behind the door before the tall man was replaced by a shorter one. Minho recognized him as the human wolf he had caught (y/n) talking to.

  "Where is she?" Minho screamed in the man's face. The wolf growled before shoving Minho off the front steps. A gasp could be heard before (y/n) appeared. She looked unharmed except for the fang marks on the side of her neck. Minho gritted his teeth at the sight. She had been claimed by a werewolf.

  "Jongdae, stop! Let him go. He's not worth the time and energy." She said softly, stroking the man known as Jongdae's chest softly to sooth him. Jongdae breathed heavily through his nose while clenching his fists tightly. Minho screamed madly before tearing her away from the wolf. 

  "No, Jongdae! Help! Please!" (y/n) screamed, knowing what was going to happen if she let Minho take her.

  "Let her go!" Jongdae snarled before shifting. Two other men came outside and shifted. One was dark brown and the other was creme colored. 

  "She's mine! I don't give a damn what your rules say! She's mine!" Minho cried out as he hauled her onto his horse before riding out of The Forest. (y/n)'s screams could be heard for miles.
