In a world where
Nothing lasts forever
Forever the lie
All we got is our memory
Everything is temporary
You and I were temporary
All I got are memories of your betrayal
Nothing lasts forever
Don’t have your hopes high
Every loss is a reminder
In this wicked world
Our issues are temporary
Our lives are so short
Gotta embrace every success and failure
You don’t know how bad it is
To not know what’s going on
Never knowing what will happen
Just know you're not alone
You’ll always have your memories
Nothing ever permanent
We all experience things differently
Some will never care
Nothing ever stays the same
Don’t you realize how sad
Cause nothing will never stay the same
Don’t keep fate on others
For they won’t remain for long
We’re all the same but different
It’s why friends come and go
