She cries
You can't see
The tears in her eyes
Perfect fake smile
The war in her head
Walking in the dark, long corridor
Never knowing where the light is
Where she's tired of
Crying
Pretending
Being Alone
Feeling Stuck
Being Different
Feeling Worthless
Feeling so empty inside
Not able to let go
Wishing to start all over
Tired of dreaming of a life
That she could never have
Most of all
She tired of being tired
Replaying every mistake
They ask
How are you doing?
But what she hears is
Are you over it yet?
I’m fine, thanks
Is all she can say
But look in her eyes
They tell a different story
Her heart beats a different tone
Her soul is just weeping
Sometimes she wish
People could listen
To the mysterious world in her head
But no one cares
She long for someone
Who will take in her words
And truly understand her
