Why should you let anyone decide
How you should feel
They don't know what's going on
Deep inside
Behind what you show on
The outside
Your undercover
As someone else
Someone you aren't
If you open up
Everyone will see
What you truly are
Blind to the sun
Shining through the rain
Hiding as someone else
When you think your ready
To show who you are
They tell you it's not alright
To ever show true sadness
Getting ready for the final leap
Isn't ever easy
It takes alot to that that leap
Sometimes you get
Addicted to acting perfect
That in the end
The final leap is
Near impossible
Hidden as someone else
Someone you aren't
Is all you ever been
