Wintry Field

Snow falling soundlessly
Littering the ground around
Trees of white and brown
The feeling of bitter ice caressing your face

Slow crackling river
Strumming it's own beat
Babbling down it's own flow
Murmur and fizzle along the way

Void of warmth
Walking around as energy drains
Longer you stay
Longer you crave for someone
Someone to be right by your side

An eerie stillness
Now broken by the howling of wolves
Reminding that your not alone
Breath of fresh air gives a sense of calm
Your feelings expressed by the black sky

Sorry yet again. I hadn't been able to be inspired and I had to ask someone what to write about. Hopefully soon I can get inspired again. In a happy way not an sad way. I been kinda upset for awhile. Just trying to make poems for you all without making them depressing. Yet again thank you for your support.
