Poems of Life (Completed)

Thank You

For now I am in great pain
Sorrow and despair
Joy and grace
So many emotions for now
I want to thank everybody

For your comments made me smile
It's been awhile since I had actually smile
Which is why I want to thank you all
Life has always been so unfair
All I ever wanted was just two things

To help others who are struggling
For me to be accepted
So I'm standing here right now
Looking out my window
It's a pretty day

The colors are so bright and beautiful
Somehow I feel like I belong
Just to the earth and not to anyone else
Saddest thing is this highway
They destroyed the forest I always used to stare at

The forest that once called for me
I always had this connection with nature
It was always my safe place
When everyone was against me
I had a few friends which aren't human

They are animals
Strays I would help
A lizard was found on my window one night about a month ago
He always showed up every night
So I gave him the name Naiko

I always want to help
This lizard disappeared for awhile
Naiko finally showed back up last night
Which was when I was writing
My last poem

I feel a connection to this lizard
It's makes me not feel so alone
Some of you are so kind
I ended up crying last night
When I read the two comments

I feel like my poems
Truly are a way for me
To reach to others
Right now before I end this poem
I want to thanks a few people
