The sun is shining through
Tears are falling
Mostly from me
The bright greens and yellows
Are so beautiful today
So many memories
That I'm remembering
Some that I want to forget
I would love to trade what I remember
For the ones that I want to remember
I have such a bad memory I guess
I kinda only ever remember the bad
Which is why I will write everything
Everything that I can
I want to be able to remember
I can't write much about my past
As I can't remember the good
All I can do is find confort
In writing poems
Maybe I can write a book?
I really don't know
While writing this one
I am crying silently
Which is why it's called Today...
I'm writing it right now, right here
Some reason..
I don't understand why
I am crying
By the time you have read this
My tears may have dried
For those reading

For taking time from your life

Maybe today is special

Someone who has been helping me
When I lost everyone
