You thought you knew me
You dragged me down
Hoping to sink me
To your surprise
I know how to swim
Drag me down
Yet don't forget
In the end I'll pull myself up
I won't let myself drown
Drown beneath your waves
You may be an ocean tonight
But I'll be the fish
You can't hurt me
Yet you can
I'll pull myself up
Wondering who I am
I'll stare into a mirror
My mask thrown to the side
Not knowing where I went
A girl I once was
Now somewhere I can't find
I'll still not drown
Even if I'm not me
Try however you want
But my new self
Shall never give up
You thought you knew me
Yet I don't know myself
I'll keep on swimming
Yet never reach the top
A endless swim
