Vallerie's POV:

My jaw almost dropped dahil sa pangalan niya. Clinton? CLINTON?!

Sure, it's a common name pero to meet a guy named Clinton two days after I had that dream and Ryan telling me that destiny will work.

Wow, what the hell.

But he's completely different.

He doesn't smile much, his body structure is different dahil medyo macho siya. And, he looks like your typical bad boy.

"You're Vallerie, right?" Sabi niya. "Uhh, yeah. Call me Vie instead" sabi ko and smiled.

"I heard what Mom told you. So are you going to do what she said?" He asked.

"Well, after the event our schools will have we probably won't meet again" I answered. Why am I even telling him this?

"Hmm, I think it's a good choice to stay away from him though" sabi niya. I was about to ask why, but then YZ came saying "Vie! And...brother"

Bakit parang di sila close?

"Oh hey YZ" bati sakanya ni Clinton. "Looks like binigyan mo ng target si Mom"

YZ's eyebrows were crossed, a big question mark written on his face.

Clinton smirked and left YZ and me.

"Tara na?" Aya ni YZ trying to make the aura good again. I just nodded.

***Later***

Ang tahimik lang sa kotse at ni isa wala kaming sinasabi.

Nakailang buka na ng bibig si YZ pero no words went out of his mouth. But after probably the 7th time, nagsalita na siya.

"Mom talked to you, didn't she?" He asked. I nodded.

"She was probably telling you to stay away from me. Because Carrie's my what she says future wife" he said.

I looked at him. He knows?

"Remember when I said I had two ex girlfriends?" He asked. I nodded again. "The first one is Carrie. We broke up dahil...pinagpalit niya ko. Mom didn't want to believe when I said pinagpalit ako ni Carrie saying she's the kindest person in the world to do that"

Parang ang sarap plantsahin ng noo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Seriously? I'm sorry, but Carrie is rude.

"When I had my second girlfriend, Mom did the exact same thing nung pinakilala ko siya. Well, that's why we broke up"

He knows what his Mom is doing.

"How did...you know?" I asked curiously. "I overheard them once, Clinton did too. Which is why he said I gave Mom another victim"

"Oh." I said since I'm still in shock dahil sa sinabi ng nanay niya.

"I'm really sorry, but please don't do what she says" sabi niya.

"Uhm..why?" I asked.

"Kasi ngayon nalang ulit ako nakaramdam ng kilig eh"
