Vallerie's POV:

"Uwi na sabi Yildeen Zamien eh" sabi ko. Itong isa kasi, ayaw umuwi. Gustong matulog sa bahay ko. Eh wala naman akong couch dito na malaki.

Meron lang akong isang bean bag saka mga upuan sa table ko in case may bisita. I never let anyone sleep here anyway.

So he's insisting na mag-tabi kami matulog. Wala naman daw kasing gagawin na masama.

Him being clingy is normal but sometimes annoying.

Umamin ka Vie, gusto mo yung pagiging clingy niya.

Sino nagsabi?!

"Please babyyyy?" Sabi niya and pouted even more ang sarap higitin ng nguso niya. "For the nth time Yildeen Zamien, no. Saka tingin mo ba gagana sakin yang pag-pout mo?"

Then his face looked like he had an idea I won't like.

He smiled the brightest smile he ever had. And we all know he smiles a lot. But this is the brightest he ever did.

"Baby...please?" He said, still smiling from ear to ear.

"Fine, okay" I said, giving up.

"Yayyy! I love you baby" sabi niya na tuwang-tuwa. Pumasok na siya ng unit ko dahil nasa tapat lang kami kanina ng pintuan ko.

Pumasok siya, looking like a 7-year-old who's at an amusement park.

Tuwang-tuwa. Parang ewan lang.

"So paano pangtulog mo?" I asked. He walked towards the TV which made me confused. May kinuha siya dun na bag na hindi ko man lang nakita kanina.

He made it shake using his right hand. What the hell YZ, lagi ka nalang may plano. Lagi.

"Shower lang ako baby" sabi niya. "Wait wait! Ako muna jusko" sabi ko. "Okay fine" he said then smiled.

Pumasok na siya sa kwarto at sumunod na rin ako dahil kailangan ko pa kuwain yung idadamit ko.

And then I realized that the only thing I could wear na pangbaba ay shorts.

MALAS NAMAN EH 'NO?

Sige Vie, gamitin mo lang lagi pyjamas mo ha? Bwiset.

With no choice, I took a pair of blue shorts. Lahat ng shorts kong pambahay maikli talaga. Wala,  eh no choice.

I then took a big white shirt para iterno. Kumuha na din ako ng underwear, making sure medyo nakatago siya. Siyempre nakakahiya diba?

***Later***

"Ikaw na" sabi ko sakanya. Tumingin siya sakin from his phone. He smiled widely, as usual. Magugulat na ngalang ako kapag di yan ngumiti eh.

Pumasok na siya ng bathroom. Minutes later, bigla siyang sumigaw ng "Baby!"

"Ano?" I asked kinda shouting. "Pa-charge po ng phone ko please" sabi niya. Aba mukha ba kong matanda para i-po niya? Pagkakatanda ko mas matanda siya sakin ahh.

Ay oo nga pala, that's what couples do.

Couples.

Di ako makapaniwala.

I took his phone since iPhone din naman siya. I took it saka kinuha yung extra charger ko. When I plugged it in, nag-light siya.

And smiled dahil sa lock screen.

Isang stolen picture ko.

This was taken when we went to a gadget store for me to buy a Polaroid. I was so excited I didn't notice I was holding his hand just to make him walk faster.

So bali para siyang yung mga usong pictures ng couples.

"Bibe!" Tawag ko sakanya and laughed a little dahil sa tawag ko sakanya. "Yes po?" Sigaw niya pabalik nung in-off niya yung shower.

"Ano pin mo?" I asked. "071418" sagot niya. I put it and then once it opened, dun ko lang na-realize.

Yun ang date today. The day I said those three words.

Ewan ko sayo, Yildeen Zamien. Masyado kang sweet and I'm hoping I really do deserve you.
