Vallerie's POV:

It seems like yesterday that I had my second monthsary with YZ. But no. Today is YZ's birthday and also our fourth monthsary. Nagsabay ang dalawa.

And of course, since it's his birthday, I decided to make the huge effort of preparing something big for him.

I rented the multi-purpose hall na nasa ground floor lang ng building ng apartment ko.

(AN: Pinacomplicate ko pa jusko)

It's also a holiday today which made things better. It was like as if timing himself was working with me.

I invited his friends na luckily nahanap ko ang contact. I invited Ryan and Triss and for some reason, also Sir Sarezi.

Nandito kami ngayon nina Triss at Ryan habang sine-set up yung room. Ryan hung the lights saka clinip yung Polaroid pictures ko of YZ or both of us.

Marami kaming Polaroid pictures so I decided na yung ibang photos, naka-tape sa wall in a shape of a "Y".

Si Triss naman, inayos yung food table saka pina-deliver yung pizza. Hard task for her, dahil kailangan niyang i-prevent ang sarili niya para kainin yung ibang pagkain.

Doing these were hard but it's fine. The things you do for the one you love nga naman.

***Later***

Natapos na ko maligo ulit dahil puno ako ng pawis kanina. Nagbihis na ko ng isang ripped jeans na white, saka blue off shoulder top.

Nandito sa unit ko sina Ryan saka Triss dahil dito na din sila magbibihis. Triss was wearing a green crop top and black fit jeans saka black na Keds.

Si Ryan naman, wag na yun tangina.

(AN: Actually hirap lang kasi talaga ako sa fashion ng lalaki HAHA ba't ba ha?)

Narinig kong may nag-doorbell at pinabukas ang pinto kay Ryan dahil tapos na siya magprepare. Ako kasi nagtutuyo ng buhok at si Triss? Well she's simply eating my food.

Tangina kasi talaga eh.

"Oh, may I help you?" Tanong ni Ryan. "Is Vie here?" Tanong ng isang familiar na boses ng lalaki.

"Renz!" Madali kong pinatabi si Ryan sa daan ng pintuan. "Renz and Angel, hi" sabi ko at medyo napatawa dahil yung buhok ko magulo pa.

"Aga niyo yata?" Tanong ko. "We figured you might need extra help. Plus friend na din kita" sabi ni Angel and winked at me.

"Yup, kaya nga tinanong namin unit number mo diba?" Sabi ni Renz. I nodded.

Lumabas ng kitchen si Triss who's holding a bag of chips, looking curious kung sino ang dumating.

"Ahh. Renz, Angel, friends ko. Si Triss saka si Ryan. Triss, Ryan, friends ni YZ na naging friends ko na din. Si Renz saka si Angel" pagpapakilala ko sakanila. They waved hi and smiled.

"So are you like...a thing?" Renz curiously asked talking about Triss and Ryan.

"What?! Ew!" Madaling sigaw ni Triss at Ryan na sabay saka tinulak ang isa't-isa. "No" madaling pag-oppose ni Triss. Napatawa naman si Ryan.

"Anyway, do you need help with anything, Vie?" Tanong ni Angel. "Ako sasagot. Yes, she actually does, Angel. You see my friend here has no idea how to use make-up or fix her hair in a way that isn't just a messy bun or pony tail" sagot ni Triss a.k.a. Miss Madaldal (we all know she's talkative)

Napatawa si Angel, "Oh goodie, I'm good with make-up. Buti nalang I always bring make-up with me sa bag" sabi ni Angel and patted her sling bag.

***Later***

"Damn Vie" sabi ni Angel nang matapos na siya sa ginagawa niya sa mukha ko.

I opened my eyes and looked at the mirror. Shet, di ata ako 'to.

The person I see in the mirror may still be Vie, pero oh. Definitely better looking version of me.

"Thank you, Angel" sabi ko. "No problem. Always glad to help a friend" sabi ni Angel.

Chineck ko ang oras at kinabahan ng konti. 10 minutes nalang at oras na ng sinabi kong call time sa ibang friends ni YZ.

I took a pair of high heels saka finasten ang strap.

(AN: It's actually not THAT high si Vie lang talaga yan, medium lang yung heels na nasa utak ko)

Tumayo ako at medyo na out of balance. Buti nalang nakahawak agad ako sa drawer na nasa left side ko lang.

I took a sling bag na di ko alam kung san ko nakuha saka nilagay ang phone, wallet, saka unit keys ko.

"Let's go" sabi ko. Triss and Ryan's jaws dropped. I looked at them confused. "What?"

"Angel! You make miracles!" Sabi ni Triss na ikinatawa ko. "Do you have like, powers?" Tanong naman ni Ryan kay Angel.

"I'm not surprised. That's the skillful work of my goddess" sabi ni Renz saka akbay kay Angel.

"Tara na" sabi ko sakanila and they nodded.
