Vallerie's POV:

"Ano? Isa nanamang Zamien ang pumasok sa buhay mo?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Triss. Even Ryan who was totally quiet and ignoring us kanina is now listening with full interest.

"Actually, I met him wayyy before when I went with YZ to this family gathering. Long story. Anyway, ever since I haven't seen him at all. Like, at all. Pero ngayon, nagpakita nalang siya ulit bigla" kwento ko.

"I have this prediction he'll be a huge help para maka-move on ka" sabi ni Ryan. "How?" I asked.

"Doesn't he look like a person to be expert on love?" He asked. He does have a point. "But he looks more of a person to play with girls' feelings" sabi ni Triss. I nodded, she also has a point.

"Ahh tangina sakit sa utak mag-isip"

***Later***

I stopped the car sa parking lot ng Starbucks. It's been a while since I last went to this place. I missed it here.

I took my car keys, phone, and wallet. Hindi naman ako magtatagal dito eh. I then went out of the car.

Maraming tao, as usual. Marami naman laging tao dito sa Starbucks na 'to eh. Sadly ito yung Starbucks na malapit sa apartment ko.

The cashier smiled at me when it was my turn to order. "1 Pistachio Bon Bon venti size, and one blueberry cheesecake please" I ordered. The cashier nodded. "Dine in or take out?" She asked. "Take out" I answered. She asked my name and I answered "Vie as in V-I-E"

She gave me my change and I sat on one of the chairs to wait for my order.

Pero nagulat ako nang makita ko ang dalawang taong ayaw na ayaw kong makita.

Carrie and YZ.

I didn't bother looking longer at them to find out whatever the hell they're doing. Baka kilabutan pa ko to the highest level.

Mamaya-maya, I got irritated dahil hindi ko pa nakukuha ang order ko.

I was about to go to the counter when someone pulled me back to my seat. I looked at the person and gasped.

"Clinton?" I said. "The one and only" sabi niya and winked. He's holding a paperbag ng Starbucks.

"Here, order mo. Ako kumuha" sabi niya, handing me my Pistachio Bon Bon and blueberry cheesecake.

"Nakita ko siyang nilalagay sa paperbag nung papunta ako dito for a drink. I then saw you na nakaupo. I told the cashier na ako na maybibigay. Kahit wala akong receipt binigay niya parin because of my charm" he explained. I nodded.

"Seryoso, are you following me? Bakit hanggang dito makikita kita?" I asked. "Ay kapal. Hindi ahh, sadyang I just wanted to go here sa Starbucks. And would you look at that, there are other people na kilala natin na nandito" sabi niya at ngumuso sa direction nila Carrie at YZ.

"I don't care" I simply said. "Oh but you do. You know, the first step in moving on is acceptance. Dapat i-accept mo yung fact na di ka pa nakaka-move on para magawa mo na talaga" sabi niya.

"Daming alam nito. Oo na" I answered. He smiled.

Uminom siya sa drink ko which irritated me. "Wala ka bang inorder?" I asked. "Oh don't worry, meron na. Just watch" sabi niya and smirked. What exactly does he have in mind?

I heard a cashier shouting, "Carrie". Napatingin sina Carrie at YZ sa direction ng sumigaw. Carrie took the drink.

"Tingnan mo, idu-dub ko sinasabi nila" sabi ni Clint.

"I didn't order this" sabi niya pretending to be Carrie. Natawa ako sa ginagawa niyang kalokohan.

"Oh don't worry ma'am, it's free for selected customers only. It's a cake you should try" pagdudub niya naman dun sa cashier.

I watched as Carrie looked tempted, looking at the cake.

She finally took the tray of cake after 10 seconds.

"So why did you order food for her?" I asked. "Carrie isn't familiar with Starbucks because she insists it's too cheap for her. So I ordered her the cake she's not supposed to eat" sabi ni Clinton. I looked at him, confused.

He sighed, "Are you dumb or you're just weak in connect the dots?" He asked. I was tempted to throw every freaking food in this shop to his face.

"Just answer the question" I answered. "She's allergic to almonds. Figure it out" he answered back.

I looked closely at the food on Carrie's tray.

Almond cake.

Clinton, you evil person.

I looked at him. "Unbelievable, your plan is dangerous" sabi ko. "Relax, she probably has some medicine or something"

"Now the plan is, we show up when she eats a piece. Okay?" He instructed.

This plan is so dangerous yet I'm loving it.

What? Don't I deserve a little fun?
