Vallerie's POV:

Ryan stopped the car. Nakaupo ako sa shotgun seat at nasa likod si Triss. Namiss ko ding umupo sa shotgun seat ni Ryan ahh.

Ganto kasi kami lagi umupo pag tatlo kaming magkakasam. Si Ryan driver, ako sa shotgun dahil ako nagpapatugtog at kinakausap si Ryan to keep him awake, at si Triss sa likod dahil matutulog lang yan.

"Grabe yung taste mo sa music ibang-iba na, Vie" sabi ni Triss. I chuckled. "I know. But Seventeen is helping me move on. Yun ngalang mukhang sakanila ako di makakamove on" sabi ko and smiled.

"Addict" bulong ni Ryan. "Hoy di ako bingi" sabi ko sakanya. He laughed, "I know"

May nakita akong itim na kotse sa tapat ng bahay namin. I got confused kung kanino yun, pero may mas malaki akong thought kesa sa curiosity kung sino owner.

Ang thought na yun ay ang pagkakaalala kong sumakay lagi sa isang itim na kotse.

Isa pang thought kay YZ, uuntigin kita Vie sa pader sige.

I inhaled deeply. I know I haven't been an ideal daughter to my parents lately. Getting a boyfriend. And then being overly depressed to the point of not going to school for weeks.

And yet they have this welcome back to the world gift.

I pressed the doorbell. Seconds later, it opened revealing Mama and Papa.

I noticed something.

Mama and Papa's eyes were both puffy.

Wow, ang galing mong anak, Vie.

***Later***

Inutusan ni Mama at Papa sina Triss saka Ryan para bumili ng ice sa tindahan para sa juice na gagawin ni Mama.

I know deep inside, they just really wanna talk privately with me.

Once Triss and Ryan went out the door, umiyak na ko.

"Sorry po, hindi ako naging magandang anak" sabi ko apologetically. Although with teary eyes, I could see Mama and Papa smiling.

"Okay lang anak. Wala ka namang ginawang masama. Nagmahal ka lang. Wala namang masama dun eh" sabi ni Mama, smiling like as if she already forgave me since the day I passed out.

"Oo, pero may good news kami ng Mama mo" sabi ni Papa. I wiped away the tears from my eyes. Good news daw eh, siyempre dapat masaya ako.

"Naging maganda ang business namin ng Papa mo kaya...we got you your long requested gift" sabi ni Mama. I looked at them confusingly.

Mama took something from her back. She took car keys which made me excited and happy as hell.

"Omg thank you po! Mama and Papa" I said and hugged them both.

Matagal ko na kasing nirequest na magkaroon ng kotse. Matagal na din akong tinuruan ni Papa magdrive, I even have driver's license pero walang kotse.

"No problem princess" sabi ni Papa and soothed my hair.

Grabe, I am lucky to have both my parents.
