Vallerie's POV:

Nagsusuklay pa ko nang makarinig ako ng doorbell. It's probably YZ.

Binuksan ko ang pintuan. He smiled, looking ready to leave. Samantalang ako di pa nagsasapatos. Di ko nga sure kung maayos na buhok ko eh. Mahaba kasi ang buhok ko.

"Baby tara na, magsapatos ka na" sabi niya. I nodded. I took a pair of shoes from the shoe rack saka sinuot.

"Let's go" sabi ko. He nodded, smiling.

***Later***

Medyo kinakabahan ako. Will his friends like me? I don't know. Do I care? In all fairness, YES, I DO. I DO CARE.

Tangina kasi, paano kapag di nila ako gusto as YZ's girlfriend? Eh di baka pilitin nila si YZ na makipag-break sakin?

I don't think I'll be able to handle that, no thank you.

Nagbukas na ang pintuan ng apartment na yun. The guy who opened it is tall, medyo gwapo, pero katamtaman ang skin color.

"Bro! Pasok! And I'm assuming you're Vie?" Tanong ng guy na nagbukas ng pintuan. I smiled and nodded, "Yeah, ako yun"

"It's so nice to meet you finally. I'm Renz, one of YZ's best friends. You're pretty famous saming magkakabarkada ahh" sabi niya.

"Uhh..bakit naman?" Tanong ko. "Your boyfriend here talks about you a lot. May nagseselos nga eh. Plus, most of us people here na pupunta ay tumulong sa pag-prepare ng surprise niya para sayo" sabi niya. "Ohh" sabi ko and nodded a few times.

"Tama na kaka-kwento Renz, saka lumayo-layo ka ng konti, too close sa baby ko" singit ni YZ. "Woah, geez bro. Atat much? Plus I already have my angel" sabi ni Renz.

Di ko sure kung angel as in the creature from heaven ang tinutukoy niya or Angel na name eh.

"Most of them are nasa couch, pero may mga wala pa" sabi ni Renz. YZ nodded.

Pagpunta namin sa living room, may dalawang lalaki saka dalawang babae na.

"Vie, meet the other people from the barkada, Zeke" pag-introduce ni Renz sa isang medyo maliit na lalaki. Hindi naman sa maliit siya, pero compared sakanilang lahat siya ang pinaka-hindi matangkad.

"Sup Vie" sabi niya and just nodded. I smiled and waved hi. "This one's Kenneth" turo naman ni Renz sa isang lalaki na tahimik at katabi ang isa dun sa mga babae.

"This is Ken's girlfriend, Madison. And this one's my angel, Angel" sabi ni Renz. Parehas silang ngumiti sakin. Angel literally looks angelic dahil ang kalma ng mukha niya, maputi, saka mukhang mabait.

Si Madison naman, mukhang more of makulit.

"And, this is my baby, Vallerie a.k.a. Vie" pag-introduce sakin ni YZ sa iba. They greeted me, and I greeted back.

"The infamous Vie is here" patawang sabi ni Angel. "Oo nga eh, you're literally always the topic whenever YZ's present. And like he gets reminded of you whenever he sees anything" sagot ni Madison.

What the hell, YZ.

Nag-doorbell na. "I'll get it" pag-volunteer ni Angel. "No dear, I'll get it" Renz volunteered instead. Angel just smiled and nodded.

Pumunta na si Renz papunta dun sa pintuan.

"Oh hey Carrie! You're here!"
