Vallerie's POV:

"Please Vie?" Pagmamakaawa muli ni Triss. I shook my head for the nth time, still laughing with the image of Charles and her hugging sa horror booth.

"Girl tingin mo ba kaya ko pang makausap si Charles after nun? And invite him to marry me pa? Hello? Are you out of your mind?" Reklamo niya. I smiled innocently, shaking my head. She sighed.

"Fine. I swear, pagkatapos nito kailangan mo talagang sumali sa kissing booth" sabi niya. I nodded.

Tumalikod na siya at pumunta kay Charles na pinapalibutan ng mga babaeng iniinvite siyang pakasalan sila.

Charles looks like he's having a hard time. Paglibutan ka ba naman ng mga babaeng taga-AC.

I looked at Clint, who's also having a hard time. Siya din kasi pinapalibutan ng mga babae na taga-JU para pakasalan siya. Todo no lang siya, and I chuckled dahil sa mukha niyang hirap na.

Meanwhile si Ryan nasa arcade booth. Humiwalay muna siya samin, tawagan ko nalang daw siya kapag "kakasalin" na si Triss at Charles (for picture purposes).

I moved a little closer kay Charles na pinapalibutan. I looked at Triss na hirap na hirap makausap si Charles.

Well, Triss' patience isn't exactly what you'd call mahaba. It's very short. So her patience is running out as of now dahil hindi niya pa makausap agad si Charles.

I watched as Triss pulled Charles' hand from all the girls. Nagulat naman si Charles sa ginawa ni Triss, but he got relieved nang makitang si Triss lang yun.

Ako nga din eh, nagulat sa ginawa ni Triss. That took up all of her confidence.

"Marry me?" Simpleng tanong ni Triss while she's still holding Charles' hand.

Charles' eyes were wide open at mukhang di siya makapaniwala. Ano bang meron? Di pa ba siya nasanay?

Or is it that...may gusto din siya sa best friend ko?

"A-ano?" He asked, stuttering. "I asked you, will you marry me? Pakasalan mo ko sa marriage booth" she said. She gulped before saying her next sentence. "If you don't want to it's absolutely fine" sabi ni Triss.

It took 10 seconds of silence, 5 blinks from Charles, and 3 gulps by Triss. Maybe even more, I didn't count closely anyway.

"S-sige! Sure! No problem, haha" he said and laughed awkwardly. Many girls whined, saying di naman deserve ni Triss yun.

Bitch please, this is my best friend getting married to her long time secret crush.

"Great! Tara" sabi ni Triss saka hinila si Charles papunta sa marriage booth. Natawa ako dahil sa mga babaeng OA kung maka-react.

I made my move saka hinila si Clint from his admirers, without a word. Nagpahila lang si Clint while the girls glared at me. Hanapin niyo non existent pake ko.

I fished out my phone from my pocket and dialed Ryan's number. Luckily, he answered agad. "What?" He asked once answering the call.

"Ikakasal na best friend natin" sabi ko in an excited voice. Tumawa si Ryan. "Okay, I'm coming" and once he said that, he ended the call. Bastos, pucha.

Dumiretso na kami ni Clint sa marriage booth. Medyo madilim na ngayon dahil malapit na mag-6:00.

Triss is nervous as heck, halata naman eh. Charles looks nervous as well. Pero not as Triss.

Maraming nakatingin sakanila, duh, si Charles yan eh. "Ikakasal" ang heartthrob ng AC kay Triss, a.k.a. my best friend.

Aba, I'm proud of myself for thinking of those two conditions. Oo, sakin talaga.

Later on, natapos na yung kasal nung hinihintay nina Triss at Charles. Triss bit her lip. Seconds later, nakita ko si Ryan na tumabi na sakin, right hand holding his phone.

Nag-kunwaring march na si Triss. She's so nervous. Habang naglalakad siya, nagulat nalang kami na ang daming babae na tumatakbo papunta sa marriage booth. Someone probably spread the "Charles is getting married" news.

Maraming nagrereklamo dahil hindi daw sila ang kinasal kay Charles. I rolled my eyes.

Finally, nakarating na si Triss sa "altar" kung saan naghihintay si Charles. Si Charles naman, hindi makatingin kay Triss. Parang kinakabahan siya ng todo-todo for some odd reason.

Well, there was the priest doing his acting job. Ryan's taking hella lot of pictures.

"You may now kiss the bride"

Teka wait, di ako informed na may ganun pa pala.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Ryan and together laughed. This just made the situation even better.

Triss gulped and looked at me for help. I just smiled.

3 seconds passed. Charles' admirers calmed down dahil wala naman daw kiss na magaganap.

But suddenly, Charles leaned closer towards Triss and pecked her lips.

Kasabay ng paghalik ni Charles kay Triss ay ang pagka-himatay ng maraming kababaihan. I'm definitely not included.

Triss blinked for who knows how many times. Many guys cheered, but girls were furious, and as I said, some lost consciousness.

Charles smiled and linked arms with Triss saka dumiretso samin. Yung mga di admirers ni Charles at nakinood lang, umalis na. While his admirers? They left, along with their unconscious friends.

"Geez, my best friend is married kuno, my other best friend has her Clint, and I'm single" sabi ni Ryan. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Clint who's grinning. Tangina kasama mo ko Ryan sa pagiging single hoy.

Triss blushed and looked away, totally forgetting her linked arm with Charles' arm.

"Hoy. Single tayo parehas" I said, correcting Ryan. He gave me a seryoso-ka-na-diyan? look. "Plus, Triss and I will make sure magkaka-girlfriend ka na ulit" I said and looked at Triss.

"Yup" sabi ni Triss. Maghi-high five sana kami using her left hand kaso naka-link pa yung arm na yun kay Charles. Dun niya lang nanotice at madaling binawi ang arm niya. Charles smirked.

"Ohh paano ba yan, Vie? The deal?" Sabi ni Triss.

Fuck.
