"The Playboy Brat's Confession"

MISSY's POV:

That playboy brat!

Nagpaiwan ako sa school. Aura took off and headed home. I ran back to our classroom, but Gavin had already left. There was no one there.

Saan na kaya sya? Hindi ko naman sya nakitang lumabas na ng campus.

Sinubukan kong pumunta sa school pool area, that was the time I saw him getting ready, maybe for swimming drills. It turns out that my suspicion was correct. He was ready to make a plunge into the pool when I stopped him.

"Hoy kuneho!" sabay turo ko kay Gavin, gamit ang aking pointed finger.

He looked at me in confusion, like he was kind of surprised to see me.

"Ako ba? " paniniguro pa nya. Tinuro pa nya ang sarili habang nakatingin sa akin.

"OO, ikaw. Meron pa bang ibang tao dito?!"

"What's wrong? Na-miss mo ba ako kaagad?" The smirk on his face alluded to his playful nature.

"Nakuha mo pang ngumiti. Are you truly happy with it? Kuneho."

"You keep calling me kuneho. You're getting nasty. Don't you know that If you are being called mean and nasty names, that's bullying?"

I was slightly startled by what he said.

Am I really a bully?

I just hate guys who are players like my dad. He hadn't been a good father. He abandoned us, and he betrayed my mother with multiple affairs. As a young woman who now understands what was going on, I'm upset about my father's extreme selfishness and how he mistreated and saddened my mother.

"Then, why are you making up stories that are not even true? Anong ibig sabihin nang nag-viral na photo sa group natin? Ikaw ba ang nagkalat no'n?" I was biting my bottom lip because I was really annoyed. I just keep myself in control.

"Ah, yun ba?" bahagyang natawa si Gavin. "At, bakit ko naman gagawin yon? Remember, there's always two sides to every story. You need to hear both sides before trying to judge someone." depensa pa nya habang lumalakad papalapit sa akin. He was wearing a pair of black swimming trunks.

"I know you. You're trying to capture people's interest? Pasikat ka din talaga."

"Why would I do that? Kilala mo na nga kaya talaga ako, Missy?" he chuckled, then suddenly his face went serious. "How well do you know me?"

He looked like he wanted to devour me whole. He walks towards me and I kept stepping backwards. What is wrong with him? He stopped nang lumapat ang likod ko sa swimming pool locker. Bumukas ang pinto nito malapit sa mukha ko. Pero mabilis naman na iniharang ni Gavin ang kanyang braso sa pintuan ng locker, kaya napigilan ang muntikan ng paghampas nito sa aking mukha. Napapikit ako ng mariin.

That was a close one! Akala ko mayuyupi na ang mukha ko.

"You should be more extra careful kasi hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon ay nasa tabi mo ako." Then, he looked at me right in the face.

"What about it? Do you think it will change everything between us?" Parang walang nangyari na tugon ko sa kanya.

He looked down, as if he's trying to absorb everything about what I have just said.
