Chapter 1.

My name is Savannah, but Harry, my twin and only friend, calls me Sav. My cousin calls me some very rude things and so do my aunt and uncle.

We used to think that our parents died in a car crash, but we were hiding in a cabin over the ocean when a tall man, called Hagrid, broke into our cabin and told Harry and I that we were magical. The only point to our life was to kill the man who killed our parents, Lord Voldemort.

Let's just say we were very shocked, but it started to make sense when weird things kept happening. For instance, I accidentally gave Dudley mouse whiskers when he wouldn't leave me alone.

Hagrid was now taking us to a place called Diagon Alley where we were to get our school supplies. First we had to go get some money from a bank called Gringotts. Our parents must have been rich because the vault our money was packed to the brim with coins. We got the money and went to get our school books.

I couldn't wait for Potions because it sounded amazing. I had already started to read the textbook. Even though Harry was my twin, we were super different. I had common sense and he didn't, he was nicer than I was, and he would hold his tongue around the Dursley's but I wouldn't. I refused to. If they treated us like crap then it was their own fault for why I would say to them after.
Harry and I then went to get our wands. It annoyed me how everyone seemed to know exactly who we were, even when we didn't tell them. The witches and wizards passing us looked surprised that we were here, and some of the smaller kids looked at us like we were their heroes.
"Ah, the Potter Twins! Here for your wands?" the old man at the counter asked.

I assumed he was Ollivander since that was the shop name and he seemed to be alone. It took Harry a few different wands before he found one that had suited him. It took me two before I got mine. My wand was Ebony wood with a phoenix feather core, nine-and-three-fourth inches and reasonably supple flexibility. Harry's wand had a twin, so I was glad that I didn't get something like it. I had my own wand, unique to me and only me. We came out of the wand shop and went to get our robes.

There was a boy in the robe shop with white-blond hair and stormy grey eyes. He tried to talk to us but I shot him down pretty quickly.
Soon after getting our robes we came out and found Hagrid.
Hagrid was holding two bird cages with an owl in each. He handed Harry a snowy white owl. He then gave me a midnight black owl. I was super happy. I had my own pet! Finally.
Soon enough we were headed to King's Cross Station to board the Hogwarts express.
"Hagrid, there must be a mistake, there is no Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters," Harry said. No respond. We turned around, expecting to see the hairy wizard, but only saw the train station.

We walked down to where nine and ten were. Harry decided to ask someone where the platform was, but everyone thought he was crazy. I simply stayed and listened to the people around me. I heard a woman talking with her children about how many Muggles there were around. I figured she must know where Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters was.

"Um, excuse me, do you know how to get into Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters?" I asked.

"Of course, is this your first time? It's Ron's first time as well. You just need to run into the wall." "Okay, thank you," Harry said, appearing next to me. Harry and I ran through the wall after Ron's brothers, Fred and George.

We boarded the train and found an empty compartment. "Why don't you come sit with us?" Fred and George asked me.

"I don't know. I shouldn't leave Harry, he'll get upset," I said, not wanting to hurt my brother's feelings.

"No, he won't. Come join us, please. We need a pretty girl in our lives, plus, it will make Lee really jealous."

"Ugh, fine. But you don't even want to know my name before we go?" I asked. "You are Savannah Potter." Fred smiled.

"How did you know, Fred?"

"Your scar. How did you know I was Fred?" Fred asked.

"Easy, your eyes are slightly different. George's are a bit lighter. I'm good with colours," I explained.

"Right, well let's go then," George said.

"Okay." I followed them to a compartment where a boy with frizzy hair was waiting.

"Lee, this is Savannah. Savannah, this is Lee."

"Nice to meet you, Savannah. Wait, you're Savannah Potter!" he said, his eyes going wide.

"Yep, that's me."

"Can I see your scar?" he asked.

"Um, sure?" I tilted my head up a bit so he could see the lightning scar on my neck.

"Wicked."

We spent the rest of the train ride talking, but I did stop to read my Potions book in more depth. At one point a young girl with frizzy brown hair came into out cabin to ask if we had seen a frog.

"Sorry, no, we will let you know if we find it though." I smiled. She smiled back, and I had a feeling we were going to be very good friends.Since I had left the Dursley's, I had smiled a lot more. No one was going to hassle me. Harry and I got along most of the time, especially since we were so different. I would often pick on him because he was shorter than me.

A/N: Hey I hope you like my new story. If you haven't read my other two it would mean so much to me if you could read them as well. I hope you enjoy this.
