Chapter 24.
We were at this stupid fighting club thing.
Professor Lockhart was trying his hardest to look brave and strong, but he was failing badly, so he called Harry up to battle. Professor Snape called up Draco and the two boys turned to each other.
"Serpentsortia!" Draco yelled, sending a green snake in Harry's way. It turned to a boy named Justin, and I quickly whispered for it to go away. Harry seemed to be talking to it as well, and Snape suddenly made it disappear.
"Bloody Hell, Harry, I didn't think you'd do something like that!" Justin said, backing up.
"What do you mean? We were telling it to go away. Didn't you hear us?" I asked, confused.
"No! You were speaking to it in Parseltongue."
"What?" I was very confused.
Swiftly, Hermione and Ron came and grabbed us both and pulled us into a deserted corridor.
"Why didn't you tell us you could speak to snakes?" Hermione asked, a little hurt.
"What are you on about? Everyone here heard us talking to the snake and everyone understood," Harry said.
"No, Harry, none of us knew what you were saying. You and Sav are Parselmouths. That means you can speak to snakes," Hermione enlightened us.
"Oh. I'm sure heaps if people can do it," Harry said.
"Wrong again, Harry," Ron said.
"So, everyone thinks we're bad now because we can talk to snakes?" I questioned. Seemed a bit far-fetched, I mean, why would they hate us just because we could talk to some snakes?
"Now everyone is going to think that you are the ones opening the Chamber of Secrets," Hermione whispered.
"Well that's freaking fantastic, isn't it? I'm going to go find Draco and make sure that no one hates me."
"Sav. How come you never said you could talk to snakes?" Draco asked.
"I didn't know I could. Please say you don't hate me!" I shyly mumbled.
"Savannah Potter. I could never hate you--or even dislike you," he said sternly.
I kissed his cheek happily. "Thank you, Draco." I gave him a hug and buried my face in the crook of his neck.

We had potions class and, of course, Snape was making us take notes.
"Sav, do you have a spare quill?"
"Why? So you can subtly touch my hand and leave me wondering if that was intentional or not? Next thing you know you will shove me up against a wall and kiss me. Or better yet we will be locked in some random room, forced to share a bed."
"What?"
"What, it could happen!"
"Why are you so on edge?" he asked.
"Sorry, all these people being petrified is horrible. I'm worried something is going to happen to my friends and you," I said solemnly.
"Sav, everything is going to be fine. I promise. Everything will work out in the end." He smiled at me.
"Thanks, Draco, you are the best. You always cheer me up." I gave him a quill.
"What's this for?" he asked.
"Idiot, you asked for a quill. So, I gave you one."
"Right, thanks."
Potions finished quickly and we went to the rest of our classes before I had detention. Harry and I had gotten a lot of detentions. But it wasn't our fault that we were always in the wrong place at the wrong time. If we could stop it, we would, but we can't.
Harry and I entered detention and started writing our lines.
As soon as we got out from detention we made out way back to our own common rooms where I met Draco for our midnight date.
He took me up to the Astronomy tower so that we could look up at the stars. He brought some food and we sat together staring mostly into each others' eyes and instead of the stars. The stars were beautiful, but Draco's eyes fascinated me. They were perfect.
