Chapter 22.
I went into my room to go to bed, soon falling asleep in the comfortable beds the Slytherin dorms had.
Before long I was waking up in tears, so I got up out of my bed and splashed some cool water on my face. I looked around in my wardrobe for something else to wear. I hated the feeling of this. I hadn't had a nightmare in a week and now they are back. That's just great, isn't it? I looked all through my wardrobe until I found a hook on the back of it. I walked into my wardrobe as I could fit in it to see what the hook thing was. I pulled out my wand and muttered, "Lumos."
I looked at the back of my wardrobe and found that the hook was actually a door handle. I tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. It must have been locked. "Alohomora."
The door clicked open and I walked through it. I came to a different wardrobe--the only difference it had to mine was that it had male clothing in it. I moved to the front of the wardrobe and opened the door discreetly, as to not be spotted. I peeked out from the wardrobe and saw a familiar blob of blond hair. I walked out of the wardrobe and over to Draco. He was still awake and saw me coming.
"How did you get here?" he asked.
"Through the wardrobe. I found it when I was looking for something else to wear. Your wardrobe is connected to mine," I explained.
"Cool, now I can sneak into your room to see you whenever I want."
"Not unless you knock first. Plus I share a room with Pansy, and she would be all over you in a matter of seconds. Lyra and Electra would pester me about you as well," I said.
Lyra and Electra were my best friends from Slytherin. Lyra had blonde hair and brown eyes, while Electra had electric blue hair with blue eyes. We weren't friends most of last year, but when I was fighting with Harry, they would be there for me. Plus, I needed more female friends--aside from Hermione, I didn't really have any. As much as Pansy thinks that we are friends, we're not. I don't like her much.
"Never mind then, but I am still going to see you secretly." He smirked.
"Um, Draco. Do you think I could spend the night with you? I had another nightmare," I asked.
"Of course. Even if you didn't have a reason you can always come to me." He pulled the cover off of him and I quickly laid down next to him before I saw anything. He was clothed, thank Merlin.
"Are you going to try out for Quidditch again this year?" he asked.
I was on the Quidditch team last year, so I was hoping to get into the team again.
"Yes. Are you going to try out?" I asked.
"Yep," he said, popping the 'p'.
"What position?" I asked.
"Chaser, just like you," he said.
"Are you serious, you could never be a Chaser. Plus, that's my position, and you can't steal it from me."
"You know, you aren't the only Chaser. And I was kidding, I would never want to be a Chaser. I want to be Seeker. The team needs a good one since Saint Potter always gets to the Snitch first," Draco said.
"You better beat my brother. And, of course, I know that I'm not the only chaser. I have been on the team for a year," I said.
"I was joking with you. Jeez, stop taking everything so seriously," he said.
"Only if you shut up and let me sleep," I said in a joking tone.
"Of course. The princess needs her beauty rest." He laughed.
"Shut up! There are others in this room trying to sleep!" Blaise grumbled.
"Sorry, Blaise." I whispered.
I curled up with Draco. Just being with him set my mind at ease.
