Chapter 43.

It was a really cold winter's day and we were spending it outside. It was the Yule Ball that night and I couldn't be more excited. I was outside with the Golden Trio. Together the for of us were the Extraordinary Four. Not as cool as the name Golden Trio, but it would do.

Ron was complaining about the cold when I turned around to see Draco come up behind me.

"I thought you said you were busy trying to get Blaise to ask out Daphne," I mentioned.

"Well, turns out, they are actually together. I just thought they were sex buddies. Anyways, since I had nothing to do, I decided to come spend some time with you," he said.

"I can't believe Daphne didn't tell me that they were together. How rude! Oh, Hermione. Do you and Ginny want to come to my room to get ready for the ball?" I asked.

"Sure. I will ask Ginny later."

"I still don't believe Hermione has got a date," Ron muttered.

"Ron! She does have a date, now accept it. It's not her fault someone asked her before you could. So, next time, don't be a baby, and ask her straight away before someone else does," I said.

"Sorry."

I turned my attention to Draco. "What do you want to do?"

"I don't know. You could show me your dress?" he asked, hope filling his voice.

"Honestly you only have to wait, like, seven more hours before you see me in it. Calm down, plus I don't get to see what you are wearing, so, there!"

"You could come to my room to get changed and we could fix that problem." He winked.

"You two are really disturbing me. Malfoy, she's not coming to your room. Sav, you ain't going to his room," Ron said, looking slightly disgusted.

Draco came behind me and wrapped his arms around my neck loosely and put his chin on my shoulder. I smiled and leaned into him. His kissed my cheek and I giggled.

"Savannah, you can giggle? I have never heard you giggle in my life," Harry asked, shocked.

"Yes, I can giggle. Everyone can. I just don't do it that often," I remarked.

"You always giggle when you are with me. I think it's cute."

This made me giggle. Wow, I was one of those girls now.

"Told you," Draco said.

"Well, then, I only giggle when I am with you."

"Who cares when you giggle, Sav, but why does he make you giggle?" Ron questioned.

"I don't know, why does food make you happy? Then you will have your answer," I said.

Draco turned to me. "I want to hit you in the face--"

"What?" I yelled.

"--with my mouth."

"What are you waiting for then, an invitation?"

Draco turned around and planted a kiss on my lips. His tongue slipped into my mouth.

"Hey, we're still here, y'know?" Harry shouted.

"And?" I asked.

"And I don't want you kissing him here," he said.

"Fine, we will go somewhere else. See you tonight. I will be the one that everyone eyes turn to look at." Draco and I went off into the library.
