I took a deep breath and looked down at the tests before me. There were two of them. Both read the same results: Positive.

I sat down on the toilet and held my hands over my stomach suddenly feeling a different way about it then I had before. Then all the memories came flooding back to me and it all made sense.

This is why I'd been sick for the last week and had gotten a bit light-headed. This is why I didn't feel right at the convention last weekend.

I was pregnant, with Cody's baby.

Cody and I had been talking about starting a family but we were talking like after we were married and owned a house together. I guess that'll have to wait now, not that I'm upset. I have no idea how I'm going to tell him or anyone else.

'What's Cody going to think?' 'How will he react?' 'Will he be happy, upset, or angry even?'  All these thoughts ran quickly through my head and were suddenly interrupted when Cody walked through the door and yelled out, "Babe, I'm home."

I quickly gathered my thoughts and put the tests in my back pocket and head downstairs and greeted Cody how I normally would.

"Hey babe, how was work today?" I asked. "It was pretty good. How was your day?" he asked. I sighed, "It was-uh-eventful." I said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Well let's hear it!" he smiled. "Well, I didn't feel well again this morning so I threw up in the bathroom toilet again." I said. "Have you gone to the doctor? Because you seem fine now." he said. "No I haven't gone to the doctor but I did stuff at home to find out what it was.." I trailed off.

My hands got sweaty and I wiped them on my jeans. "Well, I'm-I'm pregnant..." I finished. I looked up at Cody and he was showing no emotion. I began to cry and I did the only thing I knew how to do. "Cody I'm sorry. If-if you don't want to stay with me you don't have too. I will never ask you for anything and you don't have to help raise the baby if you don't want too. I'm so sorry Cody. I know we did everything to be safe..I-" "Babe I'm gonna be a dad..." he said. I nodded. I saw a smile slowly bleed onto his face. "Babe, I'm gonna be a dad! To our baby!" he exclaimed. Picking me up and spinning me around. "Baby, do not apologize. This is the best news I could've gotten today. This baby is a blessing my love. Never be sorry for that." he said.

"I-I thought you were mad." I said, laughing as he wiped my tears away. "No babe. I am so so so so happy." he said. Cody then knelt down and lifted my shirt a little and paced light kisses along my belly. "Hey kiddo. I cannot wait to meet you and I already love you so so much." he said, kissing my belly once again before standing up to look at me.

I handed him the pregnancy tests and he smiled, letting a couple tears escape. "I love you so much Y/N." he said. "I love you too baby."
