So yes, I walked straight out of class, mason and Corey didn't even defend me, just sat their looking dumb as hell
Thanks Guys.
"Lacey!" I heard someone shout from the hallway. I wasn't exactly in the mood for anyone right now. But it didn't sound like anyone in the pack, or Hayden, so I was a bit curious.
I turned around and saw Gwen running down the hallway. I wasn't exactly super close with her, I've known her since before I moved though. I knew we were friends, she was always super nice.
"I need your help." She breathed out, reaching me fully and resting her hands on her knees as she best down, taking in deep breathes
"Uh okay. What's going on?"
She sat upright and looked at me, water in her eyes as if she was about to break down at any second. So much emotion in this school...
"Someone took all of her stuff."
Alright, well I'm already completely lost
"Phoebe. They took all of her things. I can't find any of it. Not at the house, anywhere. My little sister is gone and I can't find her."
I don't remember Gwen ever having a sister. Like, ever. I only ever played with her. I've met her entire family. I would have remembered a sister.
"Gwen I'm sorry but- I don't remember who phoebe is.." It was a lot harder to say. I didn't want to make her feel crazy or anything, but she looked the part.
She was wrapping her hands in her hair frantically, looking back and forth and breathing heavily like she escaped somewhere, and they are gonna find her at any second.
"You don't remember her, my family doesn't, the school doesn't. No one remembers her!" Gwen shouted.
Banging her hands up against the lockers
(Not the ones that I totally bent though. I'll come back and fix those tonight..."
One by one, tears slid down her cheeks, first as a normal pace, then heavily. They wouldn't stop falling
She looked to her side and started to rummage through her bag, tossing many books and pouches out onto the hallway floor
"Gwen, what are you doing?" I sighed
"I'm looking for anything that's hers. She has to be here. Somewhere. She couldn't have jut vanished."
Vanished.. the ghost riders!!
"Okay Gwen. I believe you. But I promise you, you won't find anything of hers."
That's it, the ghost riders must have taken phoebe. It's the only explanation that actually makes sense!
"Can you tell me what happened?" I asked
She let out a sigh, I wasn't sure if it was out of relief that someone was finally paying attention to her, or from sorrow that she has to re live by retelling the story.
"It was just like any normal night. We were both going to bed. I could have sworn I saw a man standing outside my window, but when I looked no one was there. The next morning. She was gone. Her room was completely empty, there were no photos of her, my parents thought I was crazy."
She was crying even harder now, and I couldn't blame her. I don't know what I'd do if I had a sibling everyone forgot. That would be horrible.
Gwen had stayed on the floor, not bothering in getting up. Instead, she played with a charm bracelet that was dangling from her wrist. It jingled every time she moved her hand
"This was hers. I made it for her on her birthday. Mom hasn't gotten her anything, she was always busy traveling. Phoebe and I really only had each other."
The bracelet was hers...
"Hey Gwen. This might seem weird, but can I see that bracelet?" I asked.
She was hesitant to give it up
"I promise. I'm not going to take it or anything like that. I just want to see it really quick." I said.
She nodded slowly and untied the charm bracelet from her wrist and reached over towards my own.
The second she dropped it in my palms, I was no longer in the school.
Instead all I could see were scenes. Scenes of a younger looking girl screaming.
There were tall dark figures all around her, but I couldn't get a better sight. It kept flashing, not letting me see the vision clearly.
"Lacey?"
I opened my eyes and noticed that I was starring up at the ceiling
"Are you Okay? You passed out." Gwen was leaning over my body as I blinked
"I remember your sister." I said. Not fully, but fragments. I can't remember seeing her in school. Passing by her in the hallways. Sitting down at a table
Her face had changed from depression to, a little better than depression
"Oh my gosh! You do!" She nearly screamed
"Yes. But what I'm about to tell you. Isn't going to be easy." She calmed down at my words. I could feel how nervous she was. Or maybe that was just me. Either way. We were both terrified for the moment ahead. But I had to do it. She's already involved so..
she has to know.
"Supernatural creatures exist"
~~~~~~~~~~
"So you told her? Everything?"
Even though I was still upset at Liam, and him at me. I had to call the three boys that I know wouldn't flip out on me, too much.
"Yes, but I had too. And I have an idea on how to get the ghost riders." I said.
Hey all stood around, waiting for me to continue with my words. Corey and mason were totally captivated by my speech so far, but Liam well, not so much.
"So, that party. We are going to move it. Into Scotts house." I stated. Which was a bad idea.
"What?"
"Scotts house?!"
"Are you crazy?!"
"He's our alpha!"
Umm okay. So am I!!
"We can't do that!"
"Shut up!" I screamed. All three of them shut their mouths like I had forced them too. But I guess this time was just the power of being a girl. *internally smirks*
"One, I'm also the alpha. Scott and them are going to be gone, they are going to some town to find out more about the ghost riders Friday morning. And we, are going to catch them. The party is happening. Friday night. At Scott's house."
We are all in deep shit.
Three days...
