"What do you mean? How do you know they were here?" Scott stood up as I was now standing, liam held onto me tightly as mason and Corey began to badger

"Corey turned me invisible alone with him and we saw the Ghost riders"

"I thought they left with the storm." Liams head turned towards Scott's

"I guess not." Mason said.
They leaded their hands towards the school as we all followed. Running into the school and straight into the library. See, everything always happens at the school.

"They were up there." Mason pointed up towards the second level balcony.

"There were two on them." Corey chimed in

"You said you saw them when you turned invisible?" I asked. Corey and mason both nodded at me

"You brought him into this?" Liam stepped towards Corey and stiffened up.
I knew that Liam wasn't a big fan of Corey. Ever since that whole Theo thing and him created his own pack and Corey being on his side. He still doesn't trust that Corey is at masons best interest

"He was trying to save me Liam." Mason stepped in just as I did. Holding Liams arms and pulling him back a little bit.

"They didn't really seem to care about us. They just walked right passed us."
I looked at Scott as he had the same face of confusion on him as I did.

"Then What did they do?" He asked

"They just jumped down and left."
That can't be it. There is something they don't remember. Something they can't remember...

"That's it? They didn't take anyone?" Scott questioned.

They both shook their heads
"No. No one was there." Corey and mason both shared and uncertain look with each other

"No one that you remember.." I stated. We all looked around at each other, all of us knowing that this is only the beginning on another enemy.

After the incident at the school. All I wanted to do was sleep. Sleep sounded like a good thing.

I stepped off of the motorcycle Scott so willingly gave me and parked it in the driveway. Walking up and opening the door
"Lacey? Is that you?" My dad yelled from wherever he was in the house

"Yeah dad it's me! Who else would it be?" I said confidently. I was always sarcastic, thankfully he was used to it...

"Where were you? Dinner was done an hour ago. And you have school tomorrow." He crossed his arms and stood in the doorway leading into the kitchen.

"I was with Liam and Scott, practicing lacrosse."

"Oh, then good. You're horrible at lacrosse. You could use some more practice."

I pushed my eyebrows down as I started at my dad blankly
"What?" He asked. Uncrossing his arms and placing them on his hips like a teen mom.

"Dad I-.... I've never played lacrosse in my life. Tonight was the first night of me even picking up a stick." I said.
And even if I had played before. I was actually pretty good at it.

"Really?... hmm. Must have been thinking of someone else." He said.

"Honey?" I heard a female voice coming from deeper in the kitchen as I walked in. Seeing my mom.
"Hey sweetie. Why don't you go get to bed. You want to have enough sleep for school."

I couldn't put my finger on it. But something seemed off. Like my mom wasn't supposed to be here. I couldn't help but stare at her. She seemed so real and alive
Alive?....
