It seems that I'm still keeping up with my self-made schedule. I'm glad that I'm able to stick to it for once.

Echo had let (y/n) go with Add, and ever since then she had been traveling with him as he tried figuring out the key to time travel. He also had to remind (y/n) of who he was while doing this because she forgot...a lot.

It had been almost a year since they'd left Elder. During that time, Add had found that keeping (y/n) around made his goal a little less challenging. Not by much, but even the slightest bit of stress relief was a good thing. He still hadn't found out the time travel equation and it was always so frustrating when he discovered that whatever he did was always wrong.

When he did notice that his efforts were failing, (y/n) was there to get his mind off of it for a bit. She allowed him to take a break from the stress that figuring out the equation for time travel gave him. Sometimes it would simply be her attempts to motivate him or her optimistic attitude that always managed to calm his temper. Add especially liked how her psychic ability helped as well. Sometimes she would read his mind when he worked. Since she had read some of the books in the library as well, she would remember some of the things from those books that proved to be helpful at times. When Add wanted to sleep but found that he couldn't, (y/n) would use her psychic ability to ease his mind into sleep. Whenever she did this, Add always slept well.

The only problem that he truly had with (y/n) was when she would wander off somewhere while they were traveling. She often got lost and ended up forgetting things. As a matter of fact, that's what was happening right now. Add was already used to traveling, but (y/n) was still growing accustomedto it. They had not very long ago left Bethma and were in one of the many villages that people didn't pay much attention to since not much happened around them.

Add had stopped at the closest inn he could find and made a reservation. Then, and only because (y/n) had practically begged him to, he continued to look around the village in search of nothing in particular with (y/n) walking ahead of him. He didn't dare leave his dynamos behind, so Add did get a few stares as they walked. (Y/n) had eventually spotted a store that she liked, but Add didn't feel like actually going into it, so he gave (y/n) some of their money and waited outside for her to return with whatever she decided to get.

Not long after (y/n) had gone into the store, Add got bored. Seeing as he had no choice, he decided to get over his stubbornness and actually walk in the store to get her. As luck would have it, (y/n) left the store with her invisibility mode active because there we some customers there that bothered her a bit more than they should have. Add didn't notice that she'd left, nor did she see him as slipped out of the store. Add of course didn't know this. It was a mystery to him how she had suddenly disappeared which brought him to his current situation.

If he didn't find her, she'd kill him. Not literally since she probably wouldn't even remember who he was, but the thought of not finding her before dark and then not actually ever finding her would eventually kill him. He was already constantly worried for her safety even if he never acted like it. The sun was very close to setting and still, (y/n) had not appeared.

"Please don't tell me she actually left the village," Add thought to himself. He dreaded the thought and hoped that he was wrong. He'd already searched the whole village three times since it wasn't as large as others and yet, (y/n) was nowhere to be found. "Damn it! I'll have to cancel that reservation that I made earlier," Add thought as he went back to the inn. When he did get there though, he was more than surprised to see (y/n) sitting in one of the chairs of the inn's lobby. That's not what had Add so surprised though. She had a few cuts and a bruise on her arm.

"(Y/n)?" Add said when he saw her, hoping that she at least recognized him. She looked up at him when she heard her name being called. "What happened to you?" Add went over to her and examined her bruise and cuts, forgetting that she probably didn't even know who he was.

"I got in a fight," she muttered, refusing to meet his gaze.

"You remember me this time," Add observed, finally taking notice of his mistake.

"Everything but your name," (y/n) muttered as though she were disappointed that she even rememberedto begin with. Add was sure that wasn'tthe case, but it was clear that she was upset.

"You'll remember it later. Now about this fight that you got yourself in," Add said as he sat down next to her. When he found out who'd done this, he was going to go out later that night to pay them a visit.

"Before you get mad, just know that I think I accidentally killed someone," (y/n) stated with nothing but remorse.

"You what?" Add asked in slight shock. He hadn't expected such. Normally, as far back as he could remember, (y/n) was not the type to harm anyone.

"There were these people in the store that were being a bit too friendly, so I panicked and left the store while using my cloaking ability. I didn't see you outside when I got back, so I went looking for you. I asked someone if they'd seen you and after three times of people answering with no, I'd already forgotten your name," she began explaining. "I still asked around since I still remembered what you looked like, but then these three guys said some things about you that kind of made me angry." She seemed to remember every detail of what happened going so far as to clench her fists as if once again hearing those foul words. Add concluded that her lack of amnesia only meant one thing.

"You can do something new with your psychic power, can't you." Add knew he was right. He had to be.

"I'm getting to that, be patient Add," she said in slight annoyance, but she stopped once she realized that she knew his name. Add didn't say anything about it, so she continued. "They were saying bad things about you, things like you'd just left me here or you were a bad person. I got tired of them talking about you without even knowing you, so I told them to take it back."

(Y/n) laughed at herself. "I bet I probably sounded like a child to them. They didn't stop though, so I slapped one of them. It took the idiots a few seconds to realize that I'd hit one of them, but when they did, they pulled out knives. I earned myself a few cuts from being careless enough to get too close. One of them grabbed my arm so I panicked...I might have killed him. I don't know. Maybe I put his brain into a state of shock. All I know is that I looked at him, and he just collapsed. The other two ran away from me after that. One said that my eyes were glowing and I think they called me an evil mage or something. I just came back here to the inn. I've been here for hours," (y/n) said.

"Where was I during all of this? How didn't I notice you looking around for me?" Add muttered to himself.

"It's not like it matters. I don't really care anymore. They shouldn't have said anything bad about you," (y/n) lied. She was obviously not over the matter. Add noticed her eyes begin to glow red, something like a crimson color. "They're lucky I don't know how to fully use this power just yet. It manifested this way for a reason. I just haven't figured that out quite yet, but when I do, those three idiots won't be the only one's to suffer my wrath," (y/n) said. Then her eyes stopped glowing red and she looked at Add with fright in her eyes. "What just happened to me?" she asked.

He didn't know so he didn't answer her. "Let's get these taken care of," he changed the subject to her cuts without hesitation. They both knew it wasn't anything good, but neither of them wanted to face that fact and allowed the answer to stay lost.
