And so the story continues. Let's see what happens now (why do I feel like I said that same exact phrase in my author's note somewhere already).

"Alright, so (y/n) has a brain disease that she was immune to. It was accidentally created to deteriorate the mind and ultimately the brain itself until there is nothing left. For some reason, (y/n) was immune to its true effects and it actually did just the opposite to her. For that reason, she has psychic powers. The people that destroyed her village were simply there to stop the spread of the disease so they annihilated everyone who lived there and even burned the forest around it to ensure it didn't spread. The disease itself was actually given to everyone in (y/n)'s village through a vaccination. The entire village was technically full of tagged lab rats. At least that's what they were to the people that gave them the vaccination. Whatever the reason, they were found out and had to get rid of all evidence," Time began.

"Now here's where (y/n) comes into play. She used her psychic power to trick those around her into believing that she was nonexistent. Only her mother knew she was there so when the village fell under attack, (y/n) was the only one to go unnoticed. Well...that was until she witnessed her mother's death. She had to run and eventually, the start of this whole cycle of death began," Time said. They were all sitting in Add's room on his bed and after hearing what Time had said, (y/n) had leaned onto Add's shoulder while holding back tears from the sad ending she had heard just moments earlier. Time continued speaking.

"So the disease that caused (y/n)'s mind power to grow is also what created her alter ego. This (y/n) hates everything that the real her loves and would do just about anything to get rid of these things, us included," Time explained.

"So how in the world did her alter ego not kick in until the worse time possible?" Epser asked.

"I'm not entirely certain but sometimes it's triggered by anger, irritation, or an extreme sense of failure. I have reason to believe that the alter ego is constantly fighting to get to the surface without (y/n)'s knowledge. It must wait when she's in a vulnerable state. With her psychic ability not being at it's fullest, her alter ego must also experience some of the same lacks in power."

"How will we stop the alter ego then? According to you, it's always been there and will continue to be there," Add pointed out.

"That's why I'm here. My theories are two possible outcomes of the same plan. In order to stop, (y/n)'s alter ego, we'll need to remove it completely," Time reasoned.

"So that's why there's a possibility of her forgetting us. Removing the alter ego could also take away her memories. Taking away the alter ego could also take time and if we don't succeed, it will likely take control anyway." Esper's words didn't settle well with the group although he was right.

"But you still haven't explained how to remove the alter ego. Wouldn't that require us to have a certain extent of psychic power ourselves?" Add said.

"Well yes, it's possible to do it that way, but no. My plan was to go to the future and get a sample of the alter ego's blood. (Y/n) becomes entirely different when she's in that state so it's like the alter ego is some sort of virus. If we can create a pathogen or antibiotic to fight off the virus, we save (y/n) and get the happy ending we all want. If not, the the entire cycle repeats." Time made a circular motion with his hands to emphasize the repeating part.

"Going to the future to get a sample of future (y/n)'s alter ego's blood will be too dangerous. This virus is able to utilize (y/n)'s psychic power to it's full extent. The only reason I was able to survive was because the alter ego was toying with me, looking down on me as though I were an ant," Esper spoke. (Y/n) remained quiet although she probably was thinking that she would never do such a thing.

"If it's our only option, we have no choice. We'll just have to figure something out," Add sighed.

"For now, I think a little more details of what happened in the beginning of all of this would be a little helpful. How did the alter ego first show up?" Esper said. Time began to explain things once more but Add wondered how he knew so many details.

"Well, apparently the alter ego just found a way to take over and attack the original Add. He was much like me, not wanting to kill (y/n) so he didn't. Instead, someone else did but again, I don't want any conflict with that particular group so I won't mention who it was. The original Add decided to document everything that had happened and kept the information on a flash drive that he put inside of (y/n)'s music box. He then went back in time and took the three year old (y/n) to his time period when he was still a child. He had to make the choice to save her or our mother and he chose (y/n), leaving the music box behind as a gift to our mother who gave it to us." Time's expression turned into one of confusion. "We always end up giving the music box to (y/n) no matter the timeine. That has always been a constant whereas there are different things that changed over the variation of timelines such as the age that (y/n) if brought to our correct time period. Sometimes she accidentally gains memories of different Adds."

All of this seemed too surreal, but they had no reason not to belive what Time told them. (Y/n) in particular seemed to be taking the information the hardest. "Since she's the focal point of many time lines, her psychic ability grows and her ability to remember things goes beyond the time line that she resides in. Over time we fell into despair and slowly became cold towards (y/n). I don't understand why, but we always repeated the cycle which always leads to her death. Eventually, we stopped documenting the events on the flash drive and just kept returning the music box. I really hope this is the last time that this has to happen though. Each Add disappeared due to the timeline being changed in ever so slight a way. I don't think the next us will be able to handle another one of (y/n)'s deaths if we don't succeed this time," Time said.

"The flash drive. Is it still in the music box right now?" Add asked.

"In the one you currently have, no. I have it with me but I needed to break the laws of time to get it. I'm definitely going to have to pay for that later, but it was worth it," Time spoke, briefly glancing at (y/n).

"There's no need to look at it though. We should start our plan as soon as possible," Esper said.

"We can't go right now. We need to take a quick sample of (y/n)'s blood while she's normal and examine it so we can create something to fight the differences in the alter ego's blood," Time explained. "Not now, (y/n) clearly needs a moment to herself," Add growled. He pulled the silent girl towards him intending to keep his other selves away.

"Add, we need as much time as we can get to figure this out," Time reasoned.

"We can all time travel. Leave her alone," Add countered.

"I agree with him. Let her gave a moment. In fact, we should all just get some sleep. Wouldn't we be able to think better with a well rested mind?" Esper said.

Time said nothing in reply knowing that Esper was right. "Okay fine. We can take a break, but after that we're carrying out our plan."
