Yup, I've got this whole fanfiction writing thing under control. Here's another chapter for you guys!

Add hadn't expected her to hug him back. In all honesty, he was still in disbelief about the entire situation. If this person really was the girl that he'd known all those years ago, how did she get to this time period? Last time he checked, (y/n) aged properly and she didn't have time travel capabilities...did she?

He let the girl go and found himself searching for something that would confirm again that she really was (y/n). He hadn't even remembered her name until she was about to leave him there alone in that alley. "Do you mind? I don't like it when people stare at me like that," (y/n) said with a frown.

"How old are you now?" Add asked her.

"If you know me so well, shouldn't you already know that?" (y/n) said while crossing her arms. That was when Add found what he was looking for. The marks on her arm were still there, fourteen of them now that some time had passed.

"You're fourteen. The marks on your arm are still there too. How long have you been in this time period?" Add said. Despite her already making it clear that she didn't like staring, he couldn't help but look at her. He hadn't seen her in...how long had it actually been?

"What do you mean this time period? What are you talking about?" she inquired.

"You don't know, do you. Then we need to talk," Add muttered.

"But we are talking," (y/n) pointed out.

"We can't talk about that specific topic here. Do you know anywhere we can go without being overheard?" Add spoke after hearing her comment.

"I still don't exactly know you. Well, I know that I knew you before, but I still don't remember anything other than...well...actually I forgot now. I hate it when that happens," (y/n) was saying.

"You can trust me, I promise you. Why don't we visit someone that I met here a while back. I'm sure she won't mind if we talked at her place." Add held out his hand to her and waited for her to take it. (Y/n) looked at him a bit longer before taking his hand and allowing him to guide her. He didn't exactly remember where it was that he had to go, but he was familiar enough with Elder to be able to find it.

As they walked, Add heard (y/n) starting to hum the music box's tune again. He glanced back at her which she noticed and immediately stopped humming. "You didn't have to stop. I don't mind," Add said although he wasn't sure she heard him due to the noise around them. Either way, (y/n) didn't hum anymore. Eventually, Add found the place that he was looking for. "I think this is it," he muttered to himself.

"Wait a second, you know Echo?!" (y/n) said once she realized that she'd been brought home.

"You do too I assume," Add said. He was slightly surprised that she knew of Echo, but it was only natural since the girl had been the only alchemist in Elder last time he checked.

"Of course I do. I live with her," (y/n) said as she pulled her hand away from Add's. He'd forgotten that he was even holding her hand. "Don't just stand there. If you really know Echo, then you should at least come in and say hello." She took his hand back and pulled him towards the alchemy shop. "Hey Echo, I'm back! I found someone who says they know you!" (y/n) announced as they walked in. Echo came walking down the stairs with a vile containing some sort of chemical in one hand and an open book in the other hand.

"Hm? Who would that be?" Echo said not looking up from her book.

"I um...don't actually know his name. Well, I don't remember his name," (y/n) said. Echo looked up from her book and stared at Add when she got to the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh, it's you. How come you didn't come back after stopping that EMP signal?" Echo said. Add had completely forgotten about that.

"I had other things to worry about," Add said with a shrug.

"Oh, well then what brings you here?" Echo asked.

"I needed to talk to (y/n) about something important," Add answered.

"Echo doesn't mind. Go ahead," Echo said as she turned around and went back up the stairs. Add spotted somewhere to sit and he was about to walk over to that spot, but (y/n) pulled him back. Again, Add had forgotten that she was holding his hand, and he briefly wondered if Echo had noticed.

"Hey, I still don't know your name," she said while making sure to avoid eye contact.

"My name is Add. Now come on. I need to tell you some important information," Add said as he let (y/n)'s hand go. They sat down behind the counter that Add guessed was used for making the different types of potions that he saw around the room. "What I'm about to tell you might not seem possible to you, but you need to know anyway so listen carefully," Add started. (Y/n) nodded for him to continue.

"You aren't from this time period and neither am I. We both lived somewhere around this same area a little over three hundred years ago. I was brought here by the power of a certain library but you...I'm not sure how you got here. You wouldn't happen to know would you?" Add said.

"You were in the library too. I remember seeing you there, but I don't know how you got there. I thought you were the one who brought me here." (Y/n) looked at him with confusion.

"So you were brought here using the library's power as well. That makes sense. But how did you even get in the library to begin with?" Add wondered.

"I honestly don't know. I can't remember that far back. All I know is that I was living in the library, and then you showed up and I ended up in a forest area. I tried following you but got lost and met Echo here. I've been here ever since. It really bothers me that I can't remember anything," (y/n) said.

"So that was you following me and Dynamo," Add mumbled when he meant to only think it.

"Who's Dynamo?" (y/n) asked. Add hadn't even realized that he'd voiced his thoughts until she'd asked him that.

"Dynamo was a nasod servant that was in charge of keeping the library in order. Dynamo was actually the one that brought me here using the time travel instructions that my mother left," Add explained.

"Oh, that cat looking nasod thingy! It wouldn't work when I tried turning it on. But you said was. Did something happen to Dynamo?" (y/n) asked.

"Yeah, Dynamo stopped functioning when I got back to the library. I figured out that it was because the library's remaining energy was far too depleted. I used his chip in my own nasod creation, the nasod Dynamo," Add said. (Y/n) laughed at him.

"So you liked Dynamo so much that you named your invention after him?" she realized.

"What? No. Of course I didn't," Add said, knowing very well that he did.

"Whatever you say," (y/n) said. Her attention was now on Add's weapon instead of him.

"Do you like them?" Add asked her, noticing that she had turned her attention to the floating weapons.

"Huh? Why'd you ask me that?" (y/n) said as she looked away from them.

"No reason. You were just staring at them," he answered. He purposely shifted the dynamos around them both and watched as (y/n)'s attention was once again caught by his invention.

They talked for what seemed like an eternity before Add told her that he needed to leave. During their conversation, (y/n) had started to remember just a few things, so she asked him to stay but he really didn't want to. There were things he needed to do but (y/n) managed to convince him into staying at a nearby inn.
