"My psychic ability is extremely powerful, especially due to the constant testing they've forced me to do. I've been using it to fool my captors into thinking that I've been in my room every time I come to visit you. I've gotten caught twice already, yesterday being the second time. I can't get caught again. They said that they've got enough data on me to be able to cure the disease that I'm immune to and that my powers aren't necessary to them anymore. They've only been keeping me alive to train me into becoming their weapon. Seems that part of their plan has changed. I wanted to leave but then you would be here waiting for me, never knowing where I'd have disappeared off to," (y/n) explained.

Add looked at her for a moment before deciding what to say. Why didn't you say anything? Why didn't you tell me? "You can come with me," he spoke instead.

"But you said yourself that I can't do that until you reach your goal. I'm already bothersome enough since you have to visit me all of the time," (y/n) denied his offer.

"I visit you because I want to not because I'm required to," Add pointed out.

"But are you sure it would be safe to remove me from my time period like that. You said that you aren't even from the time period that you keep returning to. Wouldn't that already be trowing off the balance of time and space?" (y/n) reasoned, making excuses at this point.

"I don't care if it does or not. I'm not letting you die. I...care too much, so please, just come with me." Add took her hand and held it between both of his own.

"I'll only die if I get caught, so no need to worry about that part. I doubt they'd think I'd disappear so soon. How about I go back for now and then tomorrow, after I've gathered a few things, I'll come with you. I promise not to be late as long as you aren't late," (y/n) said with a slight smile. Add looked into her now glimmering eyes and slightly smiled too. He was finally getting what he'd always secretly wanted.

"Okay. You better not be late then. Same time tomorrow, got it?" Add confirmed as both of them stood. He let her hand go so that she could return, but immediately regretted doing so. "(Y/n), wai-!" Before Add could even finish his words, she turned back and hugged him. He'd wanted to do the same, and she must have read his mind. (Y/n) pulled away from him and smiled a little, and although he didn't want to, Add let her go. "Stay safe until tomorrow," he found himself saying.

Add watched her walk away towards the door, opening it to look outside, but her pupils dilated in fear. Before she could say or do anything, she was shot several times right in front of him. Add was stunned and frozen in place as disbelief tried to fog his thoughts. "(Y/n)?" he breathed.

"Quickly! Get the one that travels time! He'll be useful to us now that the girl is dead!" he heard someone shout, snapping him from his trance. Add wasted no time in setting his dynamos to time travel back to when he first showed up. Again, he found (y/n) waiting for him with the same sad aura. He rushed over to her, sitting next to her and pulling her into a tight hug. In this moment, she was okay and alive and safe and...

"Add what's...?" she spoke, but Add didn't let her finish speaking.

"We need to leave, now," Add informed.

"Why? What happened?" she asked. Add was glad she didn't just read his mind and find out.

"Just trust me, we need to leave," Add said while stroking (y/n)'s no longer bloodstained hair. Witnessing her death did something to him that he didn't like.

"Okay, but I'll need to get something right quick," (y/n) said as Add released her.

"You better hurry before they get here. How about I go with you. You can still use your psychic power to make me seem invisible when we get there right?" Add said as they both got up. (Y/n) nodded as she went to the door. Not wanting her to go first, Add went to the door and opened it himself. Just as he thought, they hadn't arrived yet. "Come on, quickly," he urged as he took (y/n)'s hand, but she ended up having to guide him outside since he didn't know the way out. When they reached the exit, they were met by an unpleasant surprise and (y/n) let go of Add's hand pushing him back before he could be harmed.

History repeated itself once more. The only difference was that her blood was now partially on Add's jacket and shirt. He couldn't do anything this time. Seeing her die a second time didn't allow for him to think logically so he just remained there where she had fallen to the ground starring blankly at the scene before him. "That must be him, the time traveler. Quickly, immobilize and capture him before he goes anywhere!" Add heard.

As much as he wanted to go back and stop any of this from happening, his body would not respond. He heard the shots fire, but he didn't feel them most likely due to adrenaline or maybe just the shock. Add fell to the ground as well and was promptly knocked out by those that had killed his true love. "Why? Why didn't I just tell you no?" was Add's last thought before blacking out.

When he woke up, Add found himself in pain and he attempted to get up from where he was only to find himself being held down. He was surrounded by strangers in labcoats and others in the uniforms that doctors wore. "Somebody sedate him," he heard someone say. He could hardly see because of the bright lights around him nor did he know where he was. That part didn't necessarily matter since he fought the hands that tried to hold him down. He was fueled by his anger and sadness, but it wasn't enough to beat the sedative so of course Add was plunged into darkness once more. When he woke up this time, the same bright lighting was present but he was on a floor.

Actually, he was in a cage of some sort. Every surface except one was covered in a white tile-like material and then there was an entire side of the room with nothing but glass. Add was lying on the floor of the odd cage and facing the glass where someone was watching him. He was sleepy, drained of energy, and his limbs weighed heavier than he could remember. Add didn't try to move and only stared back at the lady, or so he assumed it was a lady, that was staring back at him.

"We saved your life. One of our operatives shot you in a nearly fatal place but we saved you," the lady informed.

"I wish I'd died," Add mindlessly muttered. The lady gave him a strange look that soon morphed into pity.

"The girl. What was her name again? We killed her didn't we. I'm sorry about that, but she was breaking our rules and we simply do not allow rule breakers to live. Besides, she fulfilled her purpose in giving us what we needed to cure a deadly brain damaging disease. She died a hero," the lady spoke. Add didn't want to hear or see this woman anymore. He managed to turn over to his other side to face the blank white wall. It wasn't until then when he realized that his eyepatch was gone, but he had other things to worry about. "You must miss her. If you cooperate with us, we will allow you to travel back in time to save her. If you don't, we could always show you the memories that we extracted from her. Afterall, you are in most of them. You could think of it as motivation."

Add stayed as silent as the tears that fell down his face. Crying was not something he did often, but he had lost something that he wished he could have saved. That life had been more precious to him than he had realized.

"Add, you're only making this harder for yourself. Just listen to me. All you have to do is cooperate," the lady spoke.

"Shut the hell up," Add hissed. He wanted silence, just a moment of it to calm his mind long enough to allow it to drift away into his memories.

"Very well then, have it your way. I'll be back later. Before this day is over with, I will break you, just like I broke (y/n). She was my adopted daughter afterall. I know she told you so much about me." Add hadn't been listening, but he knew for sure that he despised that woman.
