What Are You Doing Here?

A/N: Maya and Miles' house is the same house as Phil and Claire Dunphy's house in the show Modern Family. Maya POV

I was on my way back from picking Chloe up from dance while Miles had Max and Maddie. we pulled into the driveway and got out of the car.

When we got up to the house I noticed the door cracked open,

"Chloe, honey go get in the car..." I told Chloe nervously

"Why mommy?"

"Just go! And call Daddy!"

She ran to the car and got in.

I walked in the house and noticed that nothing was gone or broken but when I got into the kitchen I saw someone sitting at the kitchen table, that person was...Zig Novak

"What are you doing here Zig?"

"I came to see you Maya!" Zig said standing up and walking over to me

"Zig you can't be here!" I said walking backwards

"Where's my daughter? Where's Chloe?" he said looking around the kitchen

"Don't worry about her she doesn't need you she has her own father! someone who cares about her and loves her! not someone who abandoned her!" I spat at Zig

Zig was about to say something when Miles ran in with the kids

"Maya what's going on?!" Miles said looking at Zig

"Zig broke in the house." I said clinging to Miles

"Who the hell is this?!" Zig said raising his eyebrows

"I'm her fiancée. now get out of my house!" Miles said with gritted teeth

"Miles..." I said with a warning tone

"So your getting married huh? What happened to us getting married Maya you always said you wanted that!" Zig said still looking at Miles

"Yeah...before I found out you were a drug dealer!" I yelled at Zig

"Mommy I'm scared..." Maddie said clinging to my leg

"Who's this? last I knew you only had two kids...the dead guys kid and my kid." Zig said looking at Maddie

"Max, take your sisters to your room and don't come out!" I yelled to the kids as I heard them run up the stares

It wasn't until I heard the door shut that I got angry

"Get out of my house Zig! I have a better life now! I'm getting married and I have a family and your not part of it!"

"Maya I know you still love me and I know you still want me..." Zig said raising his eyebrows

"Get out of my house!" Miles said lunging at Zig pushing him out the door

"Whatever. but I will be back for you Maya so your little boyfriend better protect you and your idiot kids cause when I come back I'm not showing any mercy..." Zig walked out and down the street

I was scared, I just put my whole family in danger.
