Miles's POV
"I'm..." Maya started
"Come on Maya spit it out!" I said
"I'm pregnant..."
"Wait, what? how is that possible?" I asked her
"Well the day I took the test I called my doctor to make sure that it was even possible and she said that if, while the last time we were intimate, if you, you know, pushed in enough, you could have straightened my pelvis enough to inseminate me. you got me pregnant Miles." Maya said looking away
"Oh my god...we're having another baby?" I asked her
"Yes, we are having another baby!" Maya said as she jumped into my arms
I just hugged her a tight as possible, knowing that this may be our last chance to ever have a child again.
~The Next Couple Of Months~
We told the kids about us having another baby and they were so happy that they were gonna have another sibling.
It's about 3 in the morning and Maya an I are asleep in bed. I felt Maya shift in bed and I moved to see she was sitting up holding her stomach. I sat up to help her
"Maya, baby what's wrong?" I asked looking at her scared face
Maya moved the sheets and I saw a dark red stain on the sheets, Maya looked at me with a look on her face that I've never seen before
"Miles...I'm bleeding..."
"What's that mean?" I asked her
"Miles I need to get to the hospital, I could be having a miscarriage!" Maya said trying to get out of bed
I got out of bed and picked her up bridal style and ran down the stairs to the car.
This can't be happening!
