Making Her Like Him

A/N: This chapter is about Maya and Chloe. just a little mother and daughter talk where Chloe revivals her feelings.

Maya POV

I walked up to Chloe's room and knocked on the door, Chloe opened it and I went and sat on her bed.

"Chloe why won't you listen to Miles?"

"Because he's not my dad I don't need to listen to him!"

"Honey, he's going to be your father! we are getting married in a couple of months I love him!"

"You can't marry him!"

"Why not?"

"Because of dad! what if he comes back?"

"Sweetie, he's not coming back! I left your father to protect you and Max! he made his own choices and one of them was not you! when I told him I was going to have you, he told me he never wanted to have any thing to do with us! but when I met Miles I wanted to do everything with him and someday you will feel that way too! but I need to marry Miles and he is going to be your father so get used to it!"

I stormed out of the room.

I ran down the hallway to mine and Miles' room,

"Miles I can't control her she doesn't listen to me either!" I said starting to cry

Miles walked over to me and hugged me and kissed my head

Miles POV

I hate seeing Maya cry I really hate it. it makes me upset to see her unhappy. I remember when we first started dating in high school, she always cried when people asked about Max and Chloe. it took her a year to finally tell me that they had two different fathers.

"Come on baby stop crying! I'll go talk to her!" I said, setting Maya down on the bed and walking down the hall to Chloe's room

I walked in to see Chloe sitting on the floor

"Hey Chloe, can I talk to you?"

The gestured to the bed meaning for me to sit down

"Ok Chloe I hope you know that you mother is in our room crying because you don't like me, I want to know why you don't."

"I think your fine Miles, it's just that if you and mommy get married, what if my dad comes back and want mom back?!"

"Chloe I don't think your father is coming back. I just want you to know that I love you and your mother and I just want you to like me."

"Your right because I don't want to make mom upset and I could be nicer to you."

"Great sweetie dinner will be done in 20 minutes so I'll call you down."

"Ok dad!" Chloe said

I just walked to the bedroom and ran over to Maya

"Maya! Chloe called me dad!"

"That's great baby! she likes you!" Maya said rubbing her hands up my chest and around my neck

"I'm just so happy! now we can kiss in front of her without her yelling at us..."
I told Maya while leaning in

We kissed, it was slow and kind at first but then it turned hot and hungry. I pulled Maya up and she rapped her legs around my waist, I pushed her down on the bed and hovered over her, she pulled at the buttons on my shirt and I unbuttoned her sweater. before it got any farther we heard Chloe's door open and she stood in the doorway of our room.

"Mom why? I thought that you and dad were cooking dinner not kissing!" Chloe said running down the stares

Now that she isn't mad at me, she's gonna ruin all of our romantic moments but, it is a step up.
