Maya's POV
As we raced to the CPS station, my heart was pounding. I couldn't believe this was really happening.
Miles must of sensed that I was nervous, he reached over to hold my hand,
"It's gonna be ok Maya, we're getting our baby back!" Miles said smiling
"I know it's just...what if we...mess this one up?" I said looking at him
As we pulled into the parking lot, Miles turned to look at me
"Maya, we are going to be fine. We raised Maddie together and she's fine."
"Yeah but you weren't there for Max and Chloe when they were growing up! I was a terrible mother! I messed up Max by making his father kill himself and I messed up Chloe by having her father be a drug dealer!" I said starting to cry
"Maya, you didn't mess them up! your a fantastic mother! I wish you were my mother...ok I just realized how wrong that would be."
We both laughed.
"Ok so you ready to go get our baby?" Miles asked me
"Let's do this!" I said getting out of the car
