Bringing Chloe Home

Maya's POV

The police showed up at our house with Chloe. we stood outside and when they opened the car door, Chloe came running at us.

She ran right into my arms

"Oh Chloe, oh sweetie are you ok? did they hurt you?" I asked her hugging her tightly

"Oh Chloe we are so happy your home! What do you want, you can have anything!" Miles tells her

"Can I watch Divergent?" Chloe asked looking up at us

"Of course you can! go on in we will be inside in a minute." I told her

She ran inside and we started talking to the cops

"Did she get hurt?" Miles asked

"Um the hospital said that there is possible signs of...sexual abuse." the male cop said

"Like she was...raped." Mikes asked

"It's possible yes." the lady cop said

I started to cry as I hung onto Miles

He stroked my hair and hugged me as the cops explained what we have to do about bringing her to doctors.

When they left we went inside to see Chloe and Max on the couch and Maddie and Luke sitting in the chair all watching Divergent.

I stood in the kitchen and Miles came and stood next to me.

"I miss us." I said

"Me too."

"Today changed us Miles. it changed our kids." I said

"We will never be the same. We lost our minds, the kids lost their protection and Chloe...she lost her innocence." Miles says looking at me

"Miles...I'm sorry." I said walking down the hallway towards the stairs

"For what?" he said running after me

"For divorcing you. it was wrong and I'm sorry. I still love you." I said kissing him after

Miles put his hands on my waist and I pushed myself into him.

He picked me up and carried me to our bedroom.

I think we just fixed our marriage.

It was about 1 in the morning and after Miles and I finished...you know...I went downstairs to check on the kids.

I had on one of Miles' button down shirts and a pair of booty shorts.

I ran walked downstairs trying not to make too much noise. I walked in the living room and saw that the kids were asleep and Divergent was in its final scene. I covered the kids up with blankets and and was about to go back upstairs.

I stood by the couch and watched the final scene. it was my favorite.

"We are like the factionless now. we left everything behind. But we found ourselves and each other. tomorrow we may have to fight again. But for now we'll ride the train to the end of the line...and then...we jump."

They found Chloe!!!!! I decided to add my favorite movie, Divergent, into this part. the final scene is my favorite and I felt like Maya would relate to what Tris said so I put that in there.
