Maya's POV
I took Max and Chloe and went to my parents. we've been there for 2 months and it's been ok. they are asking for Miles but I can't tell them anything.
Miles has Maddie. He's been staying at the house. we have to meet today to talk about the divorce and the custody of the kids.
"Ok so Mr Hollingsworth, Mrs Hollingsworth how are we doing on this fine day?" our lawyer said sitting down
"Let's just get to it. I want the house, the minivan, and I want the kids." I say
"Mrs Hollingsworth," the lawyer starts to say but I cut him off
"Miss Matlin, I'm changing my name back." I said glaring at Miles
"Maya are you sure you want to do this?" Miles asks me
"No but it's for the best." I said, signing the papers then pushing them across the table to him
Miles got up from the table and walked outside the house, I got up and followed him
"Miles get back here!" I said running up to him
"Why Maya? why the hell should I?"
"Just go sign the damn papers!" I yelled
"I have no where to go after I sign those papers!" he said letting tears fall down his face
"You can stay at home but you can't touch me when you go to sleep, or at all for that matter." I said to him
"Fine...I'll sign them." He said with a sad face, whipping off his tears
"Good"
"Let's get this over with." he said
I couldn't help but feel a tiny bit guilty as he walked back to the house.
