Maya POV
While we are waiting for the adoption papers to go through, Miles and I took the kids to go look at dogs today.
"Ok guys, now we are all going to pick one that we all like ok." I said talking to the kids as they started to look at the dogs at the dog adoption fair in the park.
"Oh mommy look at this one!" Chloe said pointing to a poodle in a nearby crate
"Dad look at this one!" Miles went over to Max and saw that he was pointing to a boxer
"What about this one mommy!" Maddie said making us all look at the little puppy in the cage
"Excuse me! what kind of dog is this?" I asked one of the volunteers
"Oh that's a baby Puggle." the girl said
"A puggle? what's that?" Miles asked the girl
"Oh it's a Pug and a Beagle mixed together. that one is a girl. only $100"
"We'll take her."
There was a mix of shouts and Yes' from the kids.
When we got to the car, I got the kids in the minivan, Max in the way back and Chloe and Maddie in the middle and Miles drove while I held the puppy in the passenger seat.
When we got home, we all sat in the living room and tried to name her
"I think we should name her sparkles!" Chloe said
"What about monster!" Max said
"Max it's a girl." I said
"What about Daisy?" Miles said
"Daisy...i like that."
We put Daisy down on the floor and she looked up at me and then started licking all the kids
"Yep one big happy family." Miles said as he put his arm around me.
A:N/ I made them pick the Puggle because I have a Puggle and they named her Daisy because I wanted to name mine Daisy but my parents wouldn't let me so my dog is Nala (like the lion king) and she's a girl too.
