Shooting Star

Warning-this chapter is loosely based off of the episode of Glee entitled Shooting Star. this chapter does have some violence and some very scary scenes. trigger warning.

Max's POV

It was my second month of school and it's going great. I met this girl Alyssa and we've been dating since the second week of school. I know mom told me not to fall in love to quickly but I can't help it...i love her.

I was on my way to math when I heard it.

BANG!

I heard some screams and then,

BANG!

I ran to the closest classroom, knowing that it was a gun shot that I heard...

Maya's POV

I was at home in the kitchen when I heard it on tv.

"And now, Breaking News, the Toronto Police Department has released that 2 gun shots have been fired at Degrassi Community School. It is unclear whether people are hurt or who the shooter could be." the news man said

I ran right to the phone and called Miles.

"Miles! there is a school shooting at Degrassi! get home now!" I said hanging up before he could answer me back

I ran out the door and to the car, grateful that the kids are at school and Charlotte is with my mom.

I raced to the school to see something so bad...children running covered in blood.

Max's POV

I was so scared. the teacher told us to start texting people but not to say where we were. I sent a text to dad and told him I loved him and I sent a text to mom and told her that I was ok and I loved her.

I sent a text to Alyssa and told her I loved her but I never got a text back. that made me worry. I got up when the teacher wasn't looking and left to look for her.

I got to the music room when I saw her. She was on the ground, covered in blood. I ran over to her,

"Alyssa...ALYSSA ANSWER ME!" I screamed but she never answered

I heard footsteps then a loud bang.

All I heard was like a ringing.

Then...

There was nothing...
