We turn to see the most surprising thing. Our eyes widened. It was Brody's dad! Brody and Levi ran to hug him. It was a great moment.
Then, Brody and I hugged.
"Who's the special lady?" Mr. Romero asked interested
"This, dad, is Gemma. Our special one and Brody' s girl!" Levi said
"Brody? A girlfriend? My son is growing up!" Mr. Romero
"Oh believe me he's still a baby. Stubborn attitude." I said
"I don't remember I was the one who insisted she does everything she wants first?" Brody said
I cleared my throat and acted like I'm not paying attention. We laughed.
"So it's the nexus star who saved you.?" I concluded
Mr. Romero nodded.
"Well, glad the earth's safe. But I guess I'll miss my days as a ninja." Calvin said
"We all will!" I said
Time skip
I'm at home scrolling through Instagram when I received a message. The notification didn't show who. It only showed 34 messages from 4 chats. Yeah, I know I didn't reply any. Wasn't in the mood as I just woke up from my nap. I open WhatsApp to check who sent me. I see 5 messages from Sarah, 3 from Jessie, 2 from my cousin, Wendy and .... 24 messages from Janet!
I open Sarah's first.
1. Hey Gem
2. Do you happen to have a red blouse or a black dress?
3. I need it as my aunt is visiting
4. You know she insists and likes the family to be class
5. High class.. from the first class😞😂
I quickly check my wardrobe and find a black short dress. I reply Sarah: I have a black short dress. Do I take it over for you or are you gonna come take it?
I skip Jessie' s messages and Wendy's and go to Janet' s.
1. Hey Gemm!
2. What's up?
3. How is it going now?
4. Hope it's good
5. I have something important to tell you
6. Very very important
7. YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT!
8. I can't believe it my self!
9. Heyyy. Guess you're not online?
10. You must be taking a nap
11. I'll wait sometime
12. Too long
13. What's taking you so long?
14. Gem!
15. Hey Gem!!!
16. GEEMMAAAA!
17. *sigh* I won't wait that long
18. It's the most surprising thing ever
19. Our class. Which is your old class is going to visit YOUR city
20. And school!
21. We told Mrs. Simpson that it's your school
22. And we're gonna visit you
23. But we'll have to make a small project you know, just to make it possible for the school like an excuse to spend the day with you and you're class
24. Can't wait! Maybe we can get on with your friends also!!
My eyes widened and they were almost gonna explode! I can't believe it!
I reply Janet: WHAT! FUCKING AWESOME!
I call her immediately!
She answers.
The call:
-Hey Gemm!
*Hey! I can't believe it!
-me too. It's awesome!
*Yeah we'll meet again and...
-see your boyfriend! Hahaha.
*ok ok Yeah! Bye. Oh when are you coming?
- tomorrow morning and we'll stay for two days and leave.
*hmmm. Good. Ok see you.
-see you!
End of the call.
I go over to Brody' s .
I knock the door and Levi opens.
"Hey Gem!"
"Hey Levi, where's Brody?"
"In his room."
"Ok come with me. I gotta tell you something"
He follows me to Brody' s room. Mr. Romero is in the living room.
"Hey Gemma."
"Hi Mr. Romero."
I go inside Brody' s room. Levi behind me.
"Hey Brody, gotta tell you something!"
I told them everything. They smiled. But the smile faded... And they looked at each other... then at me.
I rise a questioning brow.
