I was getting tired of walking.

I found a park and took a seat on a bench. I took off my back pack and rummaged through it to find a banana and a bottle of water.

When I finished eating and drinking, I threw away the banana peel in the trash and put the halfway empty water bottle back in the bag.

I started walking again somewhere, hoping to maybe find a place to stay because I have some money with me.

It's been maybe an hour now and, luckily I found a motel.

It looked pretty decent so I went inside. I walked up to the desk and it was an old lady with little reading glasses and her gray hair pulled in a tight bun.

"Um hi" I said.

"How many nights?"

"Oh uhh... 2 I think" I said.

"Single?" She said and I nodded.

She wrote something down and handed me the key.

"3rd floor"

"Thank you" I said and went to the elevator. I pressed the button for the 3rd floor which was the highest one.

The doors opened and I stepped out in the gloomy and kinda dirty hallway.

I found the door to my room and was about to unlock it.

"Excuse me?"
