Why did Ayama interrupt him? It's definitely not that simple.
"Did I say something wrong?" Mike asked timidly.
"No, no, it's okay," Ayama reassured him. "Let's just put up a little show for a change."
An array of screens diverged above us and a large piece of glass as long as the wall was lowered just in front of Mike: we could see him, but he was approachless. Mike got unshackled from his chair; he got up slowly, started to look around and pressed his palms against the glass. There was a sound of fingers snapping, but nothing changed.
"Hey, I can't see you anymore!" screamed the captive. "I see only my own reflection! Is it like an interrogation in a police precinct or something?"
The boxer was looking around a few more seconds and then started hitting the glass.
"What do you want from me? Let me out!" he screamed. "Do you want to kill me? So just move on to your 'show'!"
Emma slightly touched the lowered piece of glass and with a fear in her voice said 'Mike'.
"Hey, some screens on the wall behind Mike are diverging!" Kate said.
We all noticed that on the left opposite side of the room the TV screens formed an aisle and somebody was slowly moving towards Mike who was still knocking on the glass.
"What's wrong, my dear brother?" a little skinny guy in a black shirt and blue jeans, leaning on a cane, asked Mike.
Mike turned around and stopped dead.
