I want to think about something else, so I look over the buffet table and start choosing what to eat. Fish? Why not? I took a slice of bread with butter, put a slice of a cucumber on it and the most important ingredient – a piece of salmon – I put on the very top. That's my favorite sandwich that I've eaten since childhood! After all the shit I've been through, a good snack can put me in a better mood. Then I decided to eat boiled chicken witch rice and mushrooms.
My gaze falls on Emma that's standing on the other side of the table and trying to choose what to it...she always supports everyone. Is it her way of taking suspicion off herself? What if her kindness is just a mask? I remember how she bandaged me and thanked me for those crab chips at the party. Was she sincere? By the way, Emma wasn't drinking when we all raised our glasses after Chris' speech; and she walked up to me just before Ayama asked me to spin the wheel! Maybe her biggest secret is that she's involved in our abduction?
