I walk around this magnificent table and can't decide what to take. As a matter of fact, I need to have a snack to stop thinking for a moment about the fact that it's my turn soon to spin the wheel and reveal my dark secret. I shouldn't have told Mike about it! Why did you do it, Emma? Silly! I wonder what is he thinking about? Maybe he's enjoying his chicken and waiting for this 'event' it end? Or maybe he is suspecting me? Yeah, after those stupid words of mine he has every reason to consider me a suspect number one!

My hand reached toward a muffin and a porcelain cup where I poured green tea without sugar. Too simple? I don't care. I smiled, looking at contented Kate who's enjoying her burger, though she got a stain because of it. So, she used to be just like me and now she's completely different. Am I going to become this way one day? Am I going to behave like this, too? I remember how I used to help her with different subject and never asked anything in return, and once I asked her to help me with math, but she said 'no', because she was allegedly busy. Hmm, what did she feel when she said 'no'? Complete indifference? How does it feel when you don't give a hoot about another person's life? Did she even feel thankful for my help? I suppose it will be different if we get out of here. No, Emma, keep being an optimist: it will be different when we get out of here. Why did someone kidnap us and is making us tell everyone about personal parts of our lives? An experiment? Some scientist's crazy plan? I'm not a fan of horror movies, but usually those are two most plausible variants. Nevertheless, everyone has a right to keep it a secret whatever they want. I don't know, maybe Sam is involved in this: I practically don't know him and we don't talk much. Sure, he's Veronica's boyfriend and they are a very happy couple, but sometimes he's so distant, like David. David is the one who would never do it, I'm sure of it!
