"I'm with you, Sam," I repeated again to calm my boyfriend down. "It's over. It's not a big deal."
Sam laid with his head down on my knees and was looking at the ceiling.
Why such good people like ourselves are forced to do that? What have we done? How could we agree to that, as Ayama said? What for?
"Yeah," he said, feeling more like himself again, "it's not like watching at your own shit in the pool, as in David's situation. If it wasn't for your support and the others, I would be shaking, yelling, and crying. Who would have thought that a bunch of typical students on one of their first days of holidays would go through something like this? I was expecting a lot to happen in my life, but not that. Life is too unpredictable."
"Yeap," I nodded. "Listen, I guess it goes without saying, that all of us had their accounts hacked. Do you think someone in the social networks will notice that our group started revealing our own secrets one by one? Listen, we will go to the police. We're not dropping this!"
"Ms. Veronica Spears," Ayama announced, "it's your turn to spin the wheel."
"Wait a second, will you?" I yelled. "Give Sam time to recover from the nightmare you made him go through."
"Do you want this event to stop as soon as possible?" she insisted. "I've already given you a couple minutes to rest."
"Go, sweetie, I feel better now," my sweetheart said, "there are only you and Chris left. It's gonna be alright. In any case I'll be looking at you, telling you that I love you."
"Okay," I kissed Sam and stroked his forehead.
I go quickly to the chair and sit on it. I want it to be over as soon as possible!
"How do you feel, Ms. Spears?" asked me this damn female 'voice assistant'.
"Let's move on to the part where I spin the wheel! I want to get out of here, got it? Give me any sector, I'll tell you anything. I'll show you anything! I'll do anything! Where is the mechanism? Shackle my hands!"
Ayama did what I asked and I begin to spin the wheel.
"So, what do you want from me?" I asked obtrusively. "Come on! Say it!"
"Alright," she replied.I was under the impression that she wanted to ponder on what to answer me. I was simply waiting. I was listening to the wheel spinning and waiting.
"Are you ready to die, Ms. Spears?" suddenly I heard the questing I didn't expect.
"What?!" I asked in shocked.
"Oh, no!" Sam shouted. "Not that!"
At that moment the wheel stopped.
