Jack was over at my house again
hes been really worried about me since Jonah saw me run out of the restaurant
hes been running back and fourth between Daniel and I
and Karle
except nothings wrong with her they are just kind of a thing so he has to spend some time with her
and his family
busy guy
he brought Karle with him this time so the three of us were hanging out
they were joking around trying to cheer me up and i'd occasionally laugh but not for long, ever since that conversation in the restaurant
ive been wanting to text him
but its been hard
I stared into space as my mind was rushing thoughts in and out
"what the hell did I do" I muttered and Jack and Karle looked toward me
"what?" Karle said
"Jack is Daniel home"
Jack looked shocked and all he did was nod, I took the silence of nobody stopping me as a sign that I should go

I was about to pull into their driveway until I saw Daniel Corbyn and some girl with long blonde hair
Daniel was laughing and he looked happy
she hugged him and he lifted her up
I quickly sped off and drove back to my place, what did I just witness

I walked in and there was no sign of Karle or Jack
Amanda wasnt home either so I walked upstairs into the messy loft I was currently calling my room
I fell into my bed and immediately brokedown
I cant do this anymore, I always do this, I mess it up and then they move on to where they can be happier
James was right about everything and every word he called me
Daniels voice haunted me
I couldve stopped him from leaving that night and we couldve sorted the whole thing out and we wouldve been okay
I couldve talked to him that day in the restaurant, I couldve stayed and told him I miss and we wouldve been okay
I cant take it
I cant fucking do it, I need him in my life, he was the best part of me

There was a knock on my front door and I could hear slight conversation
Amanda had gotten home about an hour ago
she said hi to me but then had a bunch of work to do
there were footsteps coming up the stairs and my heart picked up speed, everything in me was hoping and wishing it was Daniel
my eyes met with matts and he walked over,
sat beside me and hugged me
"Da-"
"Amanda told me" he rubbed my back and the tears came back
I cried into his shoulder
"im sorry" I apologized for making the sleeve of his t shirt a little wet
"its okay"
"Matt"
"yea"
he looked down at me
"I miss him"
