I stood in the backyard of Sophia's house nervous. I wasn't sure if her parents were home and I wasn't tryna get my ass beat but I'll take that risk. I hook my phone up to my bluetooth speaker and started playing Whatever You Want by Tony Toni Tone. It was one of Sophia's favorite songs. she loved old school love songs. I turned it all the way up and held it up hoping she would hear it.

I got out the shower jamming to Kodie Shane. I lotioned and threw on some shorts and a t-shirt. As I went to turn up my speaker it died.
"Damn it."
As I plugged in to the charger I heard my song Whatever you Want playing. It sounded like it was coming from outside. The neighbors must be having a party or something.

I opened my window to find Robert standing in the middle of my backyard smiling at me.
"Hey beautiful."

"Come down here baby."
I run down the stairs of my house to meet Robert in my backyard.
"What are you doing here?" I ask hugging him
"I have something I need to do."
He pulls a rose from behind his back and hands it to me.
"Babygirl, will you go to prom with me?" He asks me
