Karkat could no longer keep it in.

He just had to tell you, about him, about you, about everything.

He laid in his room staring at the ceiling with his usual stare.

"GOG FUCKING DAMMIT..." He whispered.

He pulled out his strife specibus and inspector it.

"MAYBE I CAN... NO THAT WON'T WORK. SHE'LL HATE ME IF I SO MUCH AS TOUCH A FIBER OF HIS SHITTASTIC FUCK BOY HAIR." His eyes glared back up to the ceiling.

Just as he was about to fall asleep, you came busting in tears streaming down your face.

He sat up quickly. "(Y/N)?! WHAT IN ASS BLAZES HAPPENED?!"

You wiped at your eyes furiously. "Gerard... He... He cheated on me... w-with... Frank..."

Karkat felt anger through his body. "WHERE IS HE?" He grabbed his weapon. "I'M GONNA MAKE THAT JACKASS LEARN THE MEANING OF A TRUE CUT."

You stopped him. "Don't. Please. I'm not worth your time..."

Karkat looked at you, appalled by your answer. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

You cowered.

Karkat grabbed you by your hands. "LOOK... I MIGHT NOT BE THE MOST HAPPIEST OR THE MOST SYMPATHETIC TROLL ON THIS GOG FORSAKING PLANET YOU CALL HOME, BUT WHAT I DO KNOW IS THAT YOU FUCKING MATTER. WHO GIVES A SHIT IF THAT ASSHOLE DICK FART LEFT YOU TO GO FILL BUCKETS WITH SOME OTHER FUCKWIT. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND NO ONE CAN TELL YOU OTHERWISE. SO DON'T YOU DARE SAY YOU'RE NOT WORTH MY TIME."

You felt some more tears coming. "Karkat..." Your voice cracked.

He became distressed. "OH GOG. I FUCKED UP DIDN'T I? UH! SHIT! (Y/N), I DIDN'T MEAN -"

You shut up his babbling, kissing him deeply.

His cheeks turned a bright red color but slowly went away as he relaxed more giving back more passion.

You two pulled away breathing heavily. You had just noticed that you sitting on his lap as he was laying on his bed.

You blushed. "I! Uh...!"

Karkat placed his hands on your hips and smiled.

"IT'S ALRIGHT (Y/N)." He moved his hands up then pulled you against him.

You cuddled into his chest as he pulled the covers over the both of you.

"JUST SLEEP... JUST SLEEP..."

'AND NOW THAT YOU'RE HERE, I WON'T HAVE TO SLEEP ALONE .' He thought as he drifted away to slumber with you safely in his arms.

You and Peter had decided to stay as friends since you still had feelings, possibly black or red, for Vriska even though she had cheated on you.

You didn't understand it yourself, but it was like you two were essentially meant to be.

You heard somewhere too that Peter was gay 'cause some guy with a spandex suit like his own but more childish looking was hanging around his place a lot lately.

You shrugged. "Meh. Beggars can't be choosers."

You called up Vriska to meet you at your favorite restaurant which she humbly obliged.

Sitting in silence, you waited for your ex to arrive when you heard you and Vriska's favorite song start to play.

You sighed. "I remember the days we used to sing together..."

"We can still have those days again..."

You turn quickly as Vriska was staring at you. She looked awful, and not in a good way. Her body looked too skinny, her hair and eyes looked dead, her makeup was blotchy...

She looked all around horrible.

"Vris... "

The Scorpio turned her gaze to her feet. "Things haven't 8een .... The same since we 8rokeup...."

"You think? What made you this way?!"

Her eyes gazed into yours. "I broke my Sunshine .... And I got stabbed in the heart for it."

You feel tears prick your eyes. "Vriska..."

You wrapped your arms around her. "I'm so sorry."

"No." She hugged you back tightly. "Don't. I'm the one that fucked up. You shouldn't say anything else 8ut the answer of if you want me 8ack or not..."

You pull back and kiss her. Vriska's lips were slightly chapped but were otherwise softer than silk.

The both of you pulled away after a few minutes, breathing hard.

"Is that a yes????"

You smile. "Yes. A thousand times yes."
