dear ivo,
maybe it wasn't such a stupid thing because the next day you answered. we talked and talked like old times and somehow it got to our summer plans.
teddy g: yeah i don't really have any
ivo s: everyone has plans for the summer. come on! tell me
teddy g: well, i can't really go anywhere because i've been in the hospital
ivo s: what do you mean?
teddy g: i'm kind of going a bit crazy. it's hard to explain, but when i was younger i had kidney problems. they pumped me up with a substance called the sting and apparently it makes people go crazy. yeah, i've been kind of having hallucinations for a while
ivo s: is that why you screamed in the halls at school?
teddy g: yeah...
ivo s: that makes more sense. good thing you're not taking drugs
teddy g: yeah, everyone thought i was.
ivo s: hey, when are the visiting hours over there?
teddy g: eight am to eight pm. why?
ivo s: oh, just wondering.
teddy g: yeah for sure.
after that we said our goodbyes and left. i fell asleep smiling. looks like doctor bell was wrong. it wasn't the calm before the storm because there was no storm.
truly,
teddy
