Chapter 36

Destiny and Xander were waiting for them when they reached to the castle. "You summoned us?" It was the first thing that came out of Ronan's mouth when he entered the castle. "Yes we did Brother there had been a slight problem." Destiny said looking at him wearily.

Destiny was worried how he is going to react over the certain news. He was not best person when it comes to these type of things. "Please listen to me carefully" Destiny started. "Tell me what happened Sista don't keep anything from me please." Ronan begged.

"Ron it is about our pack. Well someone was found dead with a note." Xander said with a dark edge in his voice. "what did the note said?" he asked. Xander stayed silent. "Tell me what did it said?" he asked again. "It said..." Destiny paused gathering her words carefully.

"Ron it was about your son. Your and evangeline's son. It said if you don't come out to the neutral territory alone they will kill him like they did to the girl. It would be your son next" Destiny carefully brought out the bloody paper and handed it to Ronan.

"Noooo... Not my Victor not my Victor" He shouted and ran out of the castle half shifting into his wolf tearing his cloths and punching everything he came face to face with.

He ran into the open without knowing about the direction. He went to the clearing and let out a painful mourning howl.

The fear of losing his pup was too much great to ignore. The pain was almost unbearable. He felt torn like someone was ripping him up and then stiching him only to rip him open once again. Such a excruciating pain was too much to handle.

He heard a voice and then felt someone holding his naked form. He met the brilliant brown eyes. The face has a smile over it. It was not a sweet smile but a smile with many many malice behind it.

Paige was pacing in the main hall of castle impatiently. It was long time since Ronan was gone and no one knows where he was. He could be in grave danger and he could be hurt. There could been a possibility that he does not wanted to be found.

And no one can find him is he don't want to be found. She knows because she had tried when the academy was still in middle of construction.

"Eva" Ronan said gasping. "I am so sorry Ron i should have told you before but you were so happy with her. So happy and you totally forgot that I wanted you to look for our son. He is somewhere out there probably scared to death and all you think about your pretty mate who don't want anything to do with your child." Eva spat.

"I will not go to her. I will look for victor" Ronan said like was in trance. "Good Ronny now you understand. I am your mate. I am your everything. You just need me and victor and we will all be happy." Eva said in a smooth voice.

"Yes Eva we all be good we all be happy" Ronan said. "Good now come with me we have lots of things to catch up" She said giggling and holding Ronan's hand who smiled at her dreamily.

Paige was still worried seeing the setting sun on the horizon. The sky turned dark and there was still no sight of Ronan. She knew in her gut that something had bad happened and worst things are yet to come.

Just few hours ago how happy they were. He said he loved her. He loved everything about her and not just her body but for what she is and that is what made her happy.

Paige was still so worried about Ronan. She decided that it was the time she will find him. She needed to find him her gut telling her something was horribly wrong. And that something was Ronan. Her Ronan her mate. No her second chance mate. Her last chance for finding love.

"Destiny we have to find Ronan. He might be in very much danger" Destiny nodded. "I think so too. He was the main target of the men who killed the poor girl." Destiny said. "What if there was no men. What if it was just a woman. Or maybe just the woman who possess threat to all other wolf kind right now?" Xander materialized saying from behind.

"What do you mean my king?" Paige asked. "Come on you both i have to show you something at the security cameras. Our border surveillance had caught something." Xander walked out and they followed him.

Ronan looked at the tent in middle of nowhere. "Where is this love?" He asked Evangeline. But something within him doesn't feels right. "It is our new home for some time Ronny. Come inside don't you want to see it?" she asked and he nodded eagerly.

She held her hand and walked inside the tent. "Come on Ronny kiss me" Eva smiled softly at him. He pulled her close and kissed her on lips. All the time his wolf growling at him for some reason. But he chose to ignore it.

Ronan pulled back and caressed her cheek softly. "You are beautiful Evy. You are so so beautiful." She blushed. "Ronny I love you so much. And i will love you forever you know that right?" She asked. "Yes I know love. I know and i love you too." He said kissing her on forehead.

"Are you hungry love?" She asked. Ronan nodded. "let's cook then. Will you cook for me I am hungry too" Eva instructed. "Yes love. I will do anything for you. I will do anything for my mate" Ronan said.

Paige was desperate when they were walking in the direction of the surveillance area. She was dreading the consequences. She didn't wanted to lose him after she had lost Kyle she had no strength to go through it again.

Though he never been a mate to her Ronan was. And Ronan was her true love. Second chance mates are hard to find but yes they are miracle. She don't want to lose her miracle.

Eva smiled as she saw him cooking. She felt in control. She was the superior here and she knows Ronan will do anything for her.

Next part was to break the bond between Paige and him and then claim him for herself. After that she can go after the other part of the perfectly devised plan.

"Ronny" She called. Ronan turned back and looked at her. "I have a surprise for you" She said. "Come here" She said. He walked towards her.

"Yes love what is the surprise?" He asked. "I want you to meet with someone" she said. A little boy who was exactly Ronan's replica came from behind her. "Ronny meet our son Victor" She said smiling.
