Chapter 31

Paige looked backward and Ronan flashed her a wolfish grin while he chased her. They were soon at the meadow where they had their first date.

He chased her throughout it until they reached the lake. He lifted his front paw pretending to be injured. Paige was in front of him in a flash. She checked his paw but next second she was pinned by his wolf.

He licked her neck sending shock of pleasure all over her body. He nudged her and she nodded. His cannines mate her neck again and wave of pain and pleasure passed her. He licked her clean and sat beside her. Still in his wolf form. He sofly curled himself around her and put his head on her belly.

"I want your belly swollen with my pup" He talked in her mindlink and she blushed. "in your dreams mate" She replied back. "You don't want to know the dreams I had about you" She turned redder. She was looking like something close to a fire truck now.

"you look beautiful when you blush." Ronan said. "Trying to charm yourself into my panties Alpha darling?" She asked stroking his head playfully. "I don't need to charm you in order to get to your panties I could just order you and you will drop them for me" He said. Suddenly he saw a flash of fear passed through her.

He shifted quickly and pulled her into his arms. "No don't... I was just joking Paige I will never force you into anything." He said. Paige's face fell more as if she was remembering something dark from her past.

"I...I cannot do this. I cannot do this. I cannot do this. Please don't please don't do this to me." She cried hysterically trying to pull herself back from a naked Ronan.

"You don't have to do anything. I will not force you ever baby. I will not I promise you." She looked at him with teary eyes

"I...I want to b...but I am afraid it...it will hurt me. I will be in pain again. I cannot go through the pain. I cannot bear the touch. I cannot I am sorry. I am not a good mate. I cannot give you pups. I am sorry" She cried again breaking down as all the insecurities she felt came back crushing down on her.

"Shhh... It's alright little mate. Like I said I don't need anything other to hold you to sleep each night and wake up beside you every morning. I want you as you will give yourself to me. I will never force my will to you" He moved back and sat down bowing showing his neck in submission to her.

She sat down and hugged him tightly. He kissed her forehead as her eyes drooped. "Can we stay here for a while?" She asked. He nodded.

"I want my giant dog back" She said making him smile and he shifted into his wolf curling around her tiny body. "I love you little mate." He said softly.

They woke up when it was already night. He was still in his wolf form. "want to have a ride on my back?" She giggled and nodded. It was the sweetest thing he ever heard. She climbed on his back holding his fur.

His wolf was enjoying this, making his mate smile. He loves how she laughs. He ran and she laughed more. He jumped in the air making her scream.

She was enjoying the ride so much. Then they came to Academy. She wanted to climb down but he kept on running on a light pace.

"Luca come on they will not like that their alpha is tamed by his mate and she made him her big fluffy ride" She protested. "My mate, my life, my choices and I don't care what anyone thinks little mate" He replied with a wolfish grin.

When they neared Academy it was unusually silent. No one was in the vicinity. Alarm bells rang in Ronan's mind. Paige was also on alert.

They walked back into the castle and straight into Xander's office. He was sitting with Daniel, Ken, Renan, Mark Daniel's beta, Cade, Candice Daniel's gamma, Destiny and surprisingly Evangeline.

"Alpha if you please pass some cloths to My Alpha Darling so he can shift" Xander laughed at the endearment and Eva scowled. "Sure thing sister" Xander said looking at Ronan who was still in his wolf form passing them a wolfish grin.

Ken was back with his cloths. He gave them to Ronan. He walked out of the office and minutes later he returned to office with pair of shorts and t-shirt which was a little small on him.

"What happened why it is so silent in here? where are the students?" Ronan asked curiously. He pulled a seat for himself and pulled Paige on his lap nuzzling into her neck showing her fresh mark. "Congrats Luna Paige" Destiny smirked once again. Evangeline's scowls deepen.

"They were sent home" Xander informed. "What?" Ronan asked with disbelief in his eyes. "Why?" He asked.

"If you were paying attention then playing with your little mate you would have known. Or maybe you forgot the first thing your father taught you Ronny?" Paige growled at disrespect of her mate.

"He don't need your permission to be with anyone" Paige snapped.

"No he did not but that does not mean he cannot see what is best for him and for his pack. You are only dragging him down. He follows you like a love sick fool submitting to your wishes when in reality you should be doing so. Instead of dragging him down making him submit to you, you should leave him for someone better who deserves him. No one likes a whore and a weakling for a Luna or you forgot your stay in wolf creek?" Evangeline said.

Ronan was stunned beyond imagination. His eva was never like this. No she was sweet and innocent. She was. Paige looked at Ronan with teary eyes. His fist was clenched but he was not saying anything. He was not uttering a word. And it broke her more.

"See even Ronan knows how incapable you are and he is sacrificing a better life, his family, his son for what you? I bet he didn't even remember that he have to look for our son because he was so busy trying to make you happy. And then what Rogues will attack and tear his pack to shreads you will only be the reason of his downfall."

Suddenly a slap echoed in the room. Destiny was Fuming. "Shut the hell up bitch you already are mated and you just want Ronan because he is the next in line for Monarch. Xander held Destiny making her calm instantly. Paige was utterly heart broken by the silence of her mate.

"I only said I will find my son and I will that does not involve my mate or my personal life Evangline. You are only and only the mother of my child. Nothing more than that, so don't try to say I would have a better life because Paige here is my life and as long as I have her I do not need a better one. I love her and nothing in the world can change that" Ronan said picking up Paige in his arm and walking out of the door.
