"Aw, you look adorable, Effie!" Amy squealed at me as I sat on the chair connected the railing crossing my arms with a scowl.
The Doctor snickered from his position flying the TARDIS, Rory watching him fly it from over his shoulder curiously.
"He's making me wear this," I muttered, pulling down the short sundress with flowery designs all over it.
My sandal-clad feet shifted, as I desperately picked at the sundress. The Doctor peeked at us, holding up a floppy red sun hat. "Don't forget your hat!" He bounced over to me, catching me by the waist as I attempted to make dive away from him. "Oh, don't be like that..." He muttered, forcing the hat atop my head, adjusting it with a smile. "Can't have you getting a sunburn, can we? Rio's particularly hot." I nearly snorted at the aspect of me ever getting a sunburn.
The Doctor stepped away, smiling down at me through amused eyes. "Perfect!" He clapped his hands, making me scowl all the more, unhappy with how much leg I was currently showing.
"I hate you." I shook my head, pouting as the Doctor only wrapped an arm around me.
"No, you don't!" He sang, just as he bent down leaving a big slobbery kiss on my cheek causing me to cry out.
"Ah, alien cooties!" I rubbed the saliva off my cheek with a look of disgust, the Doctor only throwing his head back in laughter.
I twirled around, slinging myself dramatically back into my seat with a frown. Amy giggled at me, Rory sympathetically patting my head as we watched the Doctor prance around the console pulling multiple levers.
Pressing one button, he looked up with a smile. "Trust me, Rio is worth the outfit, Effie!" The Doctor exclaimed just as the slight rattling to the TARDIS stopped, Amy being the first of us to fly over to the doors.
The Doctor was right behind her, Rory and I lagging behind, me dragging my feet as I walked. Gripping the door handle, the Doctor turned to us avidly.
"Behold!" He tossed the doors open, me expecting to be hit with the sight he said I would. You know, the island paradise, jungles, carnivals, and all that fun crap. But no, all I saw when he opened the door was a stupid boneyard. "Rio!" The Doctor yelled, eyes blinking in confusion when he saw the sight as well.
With an unimpressed huff, I waltzed out of the TARDIS behind Amy and Rory motioning around us. "This is Rio! You said it was warm and fun, this is cold and boring!" I shouted angrily, not enjoying the Doctor lying about what Rio looked like. My eyes widened when the realization hit me, me turning around with a loud gasp. "You just wanted to see me in a dress!" I pointed to the Doctor accusingly, the Doctor stuttering with disagreement, a pink blush making its way on his face. "I knew it, you liar!" I cried out, tossing my hands up hating the cold weather.
"FUCK RIO!" My voice carried around us, echoing about in a loud shout.
