I didn't like what I'm eyeing. What I'm seeing and what I'm observing. That guy was standing extremely close to her and it was bugging me.

"Hey hyung, seems like you have some competition." Tao said.

I clenched my teeth and my fist was curled up and ready to punch that guy near Heyley.

I don't know why I'm feeling that way and I wanna know what's wrong with me.

Soon enough, something unpleasant occurred and I couldn't just stand there and watch.

"I'd like you to meet my daughter." My dad said addressing me to his business partners.

"Heyley Song Jane, Head Of Department." I answered introducing myself while shaking their hands.

It's my first event since I started working and I've been introducing myself around for more than a hundred times already. I seriously need a break.

"Fruit punch or cocktail, Miss?" The waiter came and offered me a drink. Just the great timing! I'm so thirsty.

I took a sip on my cocktail and wandered at my pace. I didn't know I would be this busy when I started working here.

I looked around here and there and it's as if I'm the only person wandering alone here. Everyone seems to have a partner to talk to and it's like I'm the only girl who's forever alone. I so need to make some friends.

As I was about to find Nara, my eyes were caught with a bunch of really handsome guys in suits. When I took a closer glimpse, it was none other than Kris with his 11 head of department guys.

I wanted to approach them but what happened between me and Kris back in my office that day will only make things awkward. I was trying as hard as I can to avoid running into him.

"Heyley, Heyley Song Jane? Is that you?" A familiar voice called me.

"Ahhh dae, do I know you?" I asked him eyeing him head to toe. He seems kinda familiar.

"Oh my god, I can't believe you've forgotten all about me! Sang Tae. Shin Sang Tae oppa, that's what you used to call me." He said giving me a wink.

-Flashback-

His name his face his voice. It all hit me all at once. He was one of the business heirs that my dad arranged to go a blind date with back when I was still in Canada.

He was a really nice guy. I nearly felt for him because of his charms. And believe me, I was a sucker for gentlemen.

However, he left me hanging just like that one day when I saw him kissing with another girl when I was outside browsing. And from that day onwards, I never agreed to my father for going on blind dates anymore the rest of my life.

Although there's hundreds of offers, I just don't wanna risk another broken heart. I trusted that guy and I'll never stand another chance.

"Ah yes, now I remember. The guy who left me hanging eh? What do you want?" I asked taking a sip of my cocktail.

"Heyley, I'm really sorry for what I did. I was wrong for leaving you, I really regretted on what I've did. Can't you just give me ano---"

"Save it! You hurt me once and you proved to me that you're not trustworthy. Maybe you should just go around and find someone your own size to play with." I said walking away. However, my wrist was yanked with a really aggressive grip and it made me loose balance.
